Part 2 of the bug hunting, this time also including some interesting out of bounds secrets that you otherwise would not normally see.
And as I said it in the first part, I still didn't cover all bugs, there is still quite a few out there especially desync issues that I didn't talk about. So there might be a potential part 3 at some point.

The reason why there are assets below the map is because it's stuff that was removed from the map design during its creation. The issue is that deleting assets is pretty complex and can mess things up so it's just easier to hide them out of sight.

Damn, I'm genuinely surprised that the Devs didn't just give up making content for this game early on when the engine is so anti-friendly to not even allow for easy deleting of assets

Spent a good day or two when Part 1 dropped trying to replicate all the interesting bugs that you showed on console Payday (because yes somehow I still play this damn game on my ps4) and given that we get 0 content drops by now it was def the most enjoyement I got out of it in a while lmao (if you wanna go even further and make a Part 3 I certainly would not mind..)

There is quite some potential for a part 3 actually, but for now this part will do I am sure. Also glad to hear you had a good time doing these bugs too, there is something interesting about them ngl.

@@unclegeldgeil Yes it's a shame that my heist pool is quite limited but what can you do that's on OVK's shoddy support.. It's also a lil harder to replicate some jumps or find the right angle to clip through stuff on console,like I spent 1 hour on the Birth of Sky jump but couldn't do it fuck me i'm bad RIP In any case I didn't see it showcased yet but maybe you already know about it,you can actually get out of bounds in Bank Heist by jumping on the ventilation units and then waiting for the helicopter to come drop enemies,you can get in it and it will fly you off outside the map lol (for clarity this can only be done on the side of the bank above the manager's office because if the heli goes above the side with the tellers you have no way to jump inside it)

Strangely enough I tested surviving the jump on Birth of Sky some time ago and it worked exactly as it did in the video, but I went into custody before I even managed to manoeuvre myself to the diner.

i dont know if someone told it yet but the reason why there every thing spawned in wave mod is the fact that normally when your loading the contract they will all spawn to but the generation will remove it and will keep only one of the outcome but to save time since you wont see them anyway its not done since there in the map file the game just move them so you will have one vault same as border crossing since you dont really change map your only moving to the next area and its still there but to save some data the unloaded area is mostly unloaded only the assets remain

Someone else said it is apparently quite complicated to remove certain assets so they just hide it somewhere in the map instead. I dunno if thats true or not, I am no map maker lol

@@unclegeldgeil i can confirm it, overkill's editor "bringer of worlds" helps them bundle assets into packages that are loaded when the level is loaded, but once the asset is in the package it's a chore to remove it. they could technically take it off the map, but that asset will remain loaded from the package in memory anyway, and as long as it's being hidden it usually won't cost much processing power

The safe under the map actually had a money bag on jewelry store, it was accessible with the old dumpster teleport glitch

The stuff hidden at 4:10 is the loot in the vaults it just teleport in the vaults when the drill is over

Yo uncle, I have a question, crime spree has a mutator that increases concealment, does that affect dodge and critical hits?

Yea it does, I suggest not running the basic versions since even with a 3 detection risk build you will end up having too high risk. If you want to use low blow/sneaky bastard go for the aced versions with a low detection risk build being idk around 12-14 or something. I am not too sure how much crime spree increases your concealment but I think it was 8 or 9.
