Today we venture through www.footyheadlines.com/ and rate the mock-ups and leaked football shirts and kits for Premier League sides Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, amongst many others.
As a Spurs fan, I couldn't be happier, an homage to the 05/06 season kit, the first season I went to White Hart Lane when I was a young lad. I love the new Spurs kit.
Surprised people don’t like it I like the 0161, seems like a shirt I could wear out and I’ve been in need of a blue city kit since I bought the white and beige one last year
Am I the only one who likes the City kit? Not a City fan, but I love the light blue they chose and paired with the dark blue accents and the white on the collar and cuffs.
Nah tbf that home kit is growing on me. The same way the 21/22 kit did. Hated at first but after a while I’m starting to see it, I’m seeing what they’re cooking and I’m here for it. The third kit however, beautiful. The first kit I’m buying.
Best looking *’leaked’* 2024/25 shirt I have yet to see (by far) is the *Rangers FC* new away. I mean, talk about retro, iconic & sheer class all rolled into one. Mind you, their new *’leaked’* home kit is ‘almost’ just as nice, as well. They most definitively being two shirts that I (a modest collector currently in possession of roughly 170 to 175 shirts at last count about 1 1/2 years ago) am already salivating to get my grubby little mitts on the moment they become available this July & or August too. 🔴⚪️🔵
As a fellow City fan... have to agree, that City home shirt is awful... without the 0161 - just solid navy, it wouldn't be too bad! The away and thrid look decent.
--> Here's a compliment: You're an equal opportunity curmudgeon. And, that's what we love about you. (Except Watford. You target Watford with the venom of a den of cobras. And that's why we love you.) --> Because you like the blue/orange combo, you should check out the University of Florida's uniforms. You'd love them. --> Being across "The Pond", I get to watch whilst eating breakfast, not lunch: Donuts and chocolate milk.
You can’t have non-traditional home kits 2 seasons in a row!!! I like this years Bayern kit but they gotta at least have the full colour badge on the new one
moment of silence for willne’s bank account now newcastle are back with adidas, at least they’ll rerelease some of the retro stuff so he can finally get a new jumper
Can people stop pretending that Arsenal put gold on their kit because they thought they were going to win the league last season? These decisions are made months in advance. You can't just ring Adidas in February and be like "hey guys you know those 800,000 Arsenal shirts you made? Well can you chuck them in the bin and do a new one with gold on it? Cheers". The reason they have gold on this season's shirt is to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Invincibles when they won the league without losing a game and got given a special Premier League trophy which was ... You guessed it GOLD. I'll stop pointing this out when idiots stop repeating it
It's not difficult to design a decent looking football shirt. Were not talking haute couture here! Yet Nike, and Adidas showing that they suddenly find this to be a very difficult task. Nike, and (to a lesser extent) Adidas - Stop designing 'wacky' looking 'migraine inducing' kits with swirly/zigzag stripes, wave patterns, or putting in colours that don't belong with a club's home colours. For example please fgs NO red in the Chelsea home kit!!! ....or orange. ...or gold. Just stop it!! Stop messing about with club home colours, and just design decent looking, 'less is more' kits.
Nike design horrible looking kits. I wish Chelsea would leave them and seek another kit supplier, as Nike have shown that they cannot design decent kits anymore.
