@@GAMES-yr1jo 90% of male pros do not have tgis amount of control. They literally have 2 touches to set up. Need a good first touch which most pros dont have then a controlled 2nd and a good finish which pros struggle with aswell.
@@rvbrink1986 Yes, because they are not running at full speed while they battle a giant dude trying to get the ball from them with full force. It's ok, it's a different sport. These people can't play a professional football game and professional footballers can't play a professional Teqball game.
@@David-ol6zjBut in soccer the ball is allowed to touch the ground so this sport has an extra layer. That being said, most professional soccer players would probably be great at this sport as well.
@mauricegarvey4631 If the ball hits that little table and then hits the floor, whoever hit the ball on the other side won. It most likely works like this
As a South East Asian, I'm once again reminded that the visually jawdropping sport of Sepak Takraw is not known outside our region. Sepak Takraw is like this, but with a badminton net instead of a table and a 3-man team instead of single players. Also the ball is a lot smaller and made of rattan. They do a lotta jumping and flipping just to get the ball over the net.😅
No wonder why. He was so into that Joga Bonito style back in the early 2000s. That style required the player to have absolute control over the ball. And he was the best at it.
He became the best at it after he fused the joga bonita style with J.J.Okocha's style of dribbling genius..... Soccer is at its best when the most gifted are playing.
Downgrade? More like a sub version of it. To be fair, Sepak Takraw consist of 3 players and Teqball consist only 1 to 2 players. Regardless both are awesome to watch
I got mine by beating my friend's church at soccer/futebol barefoot They had a tournament going on and I saw someone got left out so I told him I would win it for him and I scored 12 goals in a four game tourney. Barefoot. They went wild and the next morning they said I was more Brazilian than they were or something like that. Lol
These two are just freaking awesome. They must have been training and practising for hours and hours every day just to get to this level.Absolute respect to them.
@@vitalsignscritical she is not standing on the table. its a logo on the table and her foot is behind the table. the whole final is on youtube LIVE - World Teqball Championships - Bangkok | SINGLES FINALS
I just love how the Brazilian girl was capturing the call every time, and answered with just a simple header or her shoulder without forcing too much. She was using her mind very well!
Ronaldinho also has remarkable skills🙂 I used to think Ronaldinho was overrated, until I checked out some of his videos on RU-vid🙂 Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 3rd July 2024.
I don’t think so humbly. Sports with huge followings are sports people feel they could do themselves to a decent level. This one is very clear regular people can’t do it so wouldn’t relate as much. Just a theory.
Why do they call bicycle kick a bicycle kick? It doesn't really look like riding a bicycle. If I was in charge of naming it I would have called it "the infamous upside downy, back to fronty kick."
Incredible athletes both of them. THIS is what true athleticism is in my humble opinion. Incredible agility and coordination of all parts of their bodies, the reflexes and control is off the charts. There is a lot more to think about in this game than there is in regular table tennis, or tennis, or soccer.
@@JguthroExiste uma mesa própria, para este esporte, mas não sei o nome, mas a "Altinha" jogamos sem mesa, só na habilidade mesmo, sem deixar a bola cair fazendo manobras.
WHAAAAAAT?! They combined table tennis+soccer/futbol?! That's amazing! Is this an Olympic sport? A novel Brazilian sport? Someone please me out, here? THE MENTAL ACUITY AND MIND-BODY AGILITY TO ACCURATELY LAUNCH SHOTS OFF THE TABLE, READ AND RESPOND TO THESE SKILLS, AND THE ATHLETIC PRECISION ENDURANCE AND BODY CONTROL HERE ARE CRAZY!!!
I would definitely need more than this video to believe that it is real ... To see it in person ... Eyewitness testimony ... Live feed of the competition.
This is actually amazing! I clicked on it by mistake, but I do not regret it. It captured my interest and I as well wasn't aware of the existence of this sport. Truly it seems these contestants have a trained a lot and this is the result. Congratulations!
As a Sepak Takraw player, that Brazilian lady has a heck of a defense. The Thai opponent just made a rollspike but she managed to catch the ball. Very composed player.
Wow, that gives me a hefty flashback. Played this a lot in my childhood at these public table tennis plates made of stone. Sometimes there were 20 of us circling the plate. Thirty years later this is a real thing!
Ive never heard of this sport but damn that was wild! Lots of skill involved! This sport is a cross between soccer, table tennis (ping pong), volleyball!
