As a seasoned parent, the seats that supposedly turn into a booster are Terrible. Once you have had a kid in the seat for 6 years you want a new one. Also they usually are not easy to buckle and sit so high. You will still need a booster seat after as most kids need one till age 10 and you arent swueezing a 10yo in that seat. Boosters are like 50$ anyway. I'd save my money there's no need for a seat that turns into a booster. Just my opinion that the gold is not worth it, the slim would be just fine
Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience. We recommend the gold slim because it comes with a lifetime warranty and the regular slim comes with 90 days. Also both have weight limits at 65 lbs. Evenflo has been pricing both the regular evenflo 360 at the same price as the slim for now so you definitely have options.
Same. Our surprise twins are #4 and #5. We never ended up using ff to boosters as boosters. By that point we wanted something lightweight to switch between cars quickly and my older kids liked to be independent. They wanted to carry their own booster. Older kids want to go with their friends to the zoo without you or catch a ride with their aunt to the restaurant. Dragging a 25lb carseat (booster) tanks those little dreams of independence. In theory it sounds great but in practice, kids are people with their own desires and it sucks to slow them down when there's so few opportunities for them to safely hang out without parents.
Which Evenflo gold model would you recommend for a 2023 Volvo XC90 (revolve360 or slim) ? Keep in mind: I don't need the booster seat option, and I would like regular passengers to still have room to sit in the two other back seats. I'm worried if the car seat base will be too wide where someone can't use the middle seat. Additionally, do you talk about the sensorsafe buckle option in the gold slim anywhere?
Can you please tell me, for a van, is it possible to move the seat forward to let a kids go in the back? If you move it sideways? And is it easy to take the seat out?
Hi! The non slim evenflo 360 is 40 lbs rear-facing unless you opt for the evenflo 360 extend or slim. Also the gold evenflo come with a lifetime warranty but non gold models come with 90 days.
I just bought it I saw one at Walmart for $300 so I got the Amazon one instead I think it’s a good deal considering almost all car seats are at least $150
Appreciate the video, super helpful. Didn’t even know they made a slim model. Are the pads on the straps removable? Also, is this harness clip easy to unclip?
Hi! The slim is slimmer in width but similar depth as the other evenflo models. MAKE SURE if you want the lifetime warranty you get a gold version. The shoulder pads are not suppose to be removable but there is a work around if you completely undo the shoulder strap. Harness clip is easy to unclip but not too easy that your child can undo it and the same on all evenflo 360 models.
