At school we are following a cycle of prayer during the Coronavirus emergency. Please join us: MONDAY: People who have the disease; especially the elderly, those with existing health issues, and others for whom it is a dangerous illness. TUESDAY: Doctors, nurses and all healthcare workers. Carers - both those whose job it is, and those who care for a family member. Residential care homes. WEDNESDAY: People who are living in isolation or in quarantine; their practical and social wellbeing. THURSDAY: Our school community; pupils and staff. Those teaching and learning in difficult circumstances. Our friends and families. FRIDAY: Scientists who advise governments about policy; and those who are working to find a vaccine for the disease. SATURDAY: All who are anxious and fearful, workers who are worried about their livelihood. SUNDAY: The Queen; national leaders both in the UK and around the world; politicians and policy-makers.
