My family attended an evening meal gathering on a cousin's wedding, which they celebrated in Phnom Penh city, Cambodia. The event was arranged on May 03, 2024 and there were a lot of guests came, especially at night (after 8pm).
We got a table full of our family relatives (my wife's side), so we had a lot of talks and good time with each other. My wife's aunts love to talk about life a lot, and they so seem to care a lot about their young family generations. Anything they could help on ideas, we can discuss openly with them.
The meal was great with a lot delicious dishes. Everywhere in Cambodia, The evening meal gathering on the wedding day, the chefs prepares 5 to 8 dishes differently to serve the guests. The dishes will be provided from one to one after the guests on the table have finished. White rice or fried rice and Khmer soup are usually served before the end of the last dishes (dessert is always at the last one).
