You did so awsome and i think banksy and u are the perfect pair and i think that you should enter the event next week and don't push him too too hard but push him hard enough that he can still do super like how he did at bicton.

I love how kind you are Tina to that young man Sam. It is so nice that you are mentoring him, I am sure that he loves going around the courses with you and when you let him jump Banksy that absolutely made his day. Tina my Dear, Every time I see you ride a course, today you are at Bicton you get better and better. Well done I am so proud of you. I don’t know which Bicton year this is but your riding is absolutely getting so much better than I think the last one. You are accompanied by Emily Lisa and Ems dog Nala. Aww what a lovely moment when Em said she believed you could do it 🥰 I think most of us as riders are so overly critical on ourselves, everything comes up so fast XC that sometimes even with all the training in the world we don't ride how we know we should out on course, we do flap or kick maybe more than we'd like because we just do what we feel we should in the moment! Also it was your first run back out; personally I think you both smashed it! Be proud of yourself with that result, all your hard work over the winter has paid off big time. Huge well done! Xx

Banksy always looks super dashing all plaited up & I have some serious braid envy for Em's forelock plait! I really need to practice a lot more, as mine do not look that good lol. Well done & congratulations! Yes, your winter training is very much paying off- both in terms of results & in your ability to objectively evaluate where & why the wobbles happened. I find when my 'Itty Bitty Sh**ty Committee' start to take over & I get overly critical of myself in terms of riding or results (or life in general to be fair), it is good to take a breath, mentally step back & remember that there is no such thing as perfection- there will always be wobbles & undesirable moments. The best we can do is identify when & why the not so good moments happen, so we can work on improving, which you are doing, so in my books you are doing awesome!

If the ground is as hard as it looks, I wouldn’t do an event every week, unless you have a couple of days with plenty of rain to soften the soil. The last thing that you need is trouble with Banksy’s feet. Cross Country is a long hard ride with many big hard jumps along the way. I think that you are right, and I would definitely wait until things were better. Jane. 🐎🐴😎👍🧑🏻‍🦰

On the last few strides to a jump I find it easier to shove leg really far forward as I find it easier to put leg on is this okay or should I not be doing it ? My leg also swings in canter even though I do lots of no stirrups and two point position and don’t grip
