Bless you well done, its tough enough without such horrible weather. I do admire you for pushing yourself so hard. I haven't done any competition in more years than you have been born lol, but I can remember all the emotions and pressure. Just keep enjoying it or trying too xx

Can I congratulate You, Emma, Banksy and Lola. Its been a strange year with little or no events. This is your first one of the year and you survived and had fun. The weather was crap for you and the ponies were excited and trying to get used to all the noises and being out and about again. Well done and roll on the next event 👏 👍 💖
I really felt for you riding in that pouring rain, I’m no fairweather rider but it’s hard to enjoy it when it’s that miserable! I think you held him together really well in the dressage considering he didn’t make it easy for you. On the plus side, he clearly loves his job which is so lovely to see. Showjumping and XC looked ace! Well done, you rode brilliantly. X

Well done Tina and banksy shame about the weather but he sure loves his jumping and you really enjoyed yourself. He doesn’t like dressage he’s all for jumping he’s great again well done. I’m going to watch Emily shortly too.tfs😎
Banksys attitude towards the whole thing is my attitude towards getting back in the saddle after a year out after a freak accident! I always see these things as showing for room for improvements and just an enjoyable thing for you all!
Haha the "never smile at a crocodile" bit really cracked me up as I got the reference straight away lol it's from Disney's Peter Pan and funnily enough I referenced the "following the leader" song from that film the other day to a girl ages around 6 and she had no idea what it was! I loved this vlog not bad for his first time out he did great but you could see all around the dressage he was just like I’m bored I just want to jump and go fast but it was all fun and here is to the next one good to have some normalcy after so much uncertainty and let downs but everything is on the up now yes so thank you I really enjoyed watching you and Banksy and Emily and Lola and of course little trailer dog in training Nala she was also a good girl

Well done Tina! So great to see you guys out and about! Moreton is only about 20 miles from me love it there (although I’m not brave enough to event, used to do dressage in their beautiful schools. Spent 5.5hours in that car park trying to load one back up once too 😂). Looking forward to the next one already!

Awesome to see the team back out eventing looking forward to Pontispool, my first event of the season wasn't any good either I forgot my watch and usually go too fast so I made an effort to go slow well 22 seconds too slow to be honest in this case which meant instead of finishing 4th I was 14th but my first one back after a 5 year break so super happy with my boy
I couldn’t help keep looking through your rear window on the journey up and watching the horses behind you. They looked as if they were chatting away to each other in the same way their humans were.
Trying to watch u and Emily talk and my eyes keep being drawn to behind u guys with Banksy and Lola popping in and out of the trailer window like a couple of mischievous kids lol. Any word on the rule of the reusable numbers? The songs from Peter pan. The difference between a croc and an alligator is the shape of the mouth. I think it is a croc jump.
Second comment is because Emily face when you were asking about the weather being so dry in Cornwall compared to the show and her face just when totally blank and it was a case of ironically rabbit caught in headlights that’s because you and Emily both thought a bit of tyre was a rabbit glad these vlogs are back you two together do make me laugh

@@LifeontheLeftRein Home from work and rode my ponio this afternoon! Finally had time to watch the second part of the vlog (morning of your eventing day) it was awesome! Given this event was his first in a Long while, dressage in the rain... show jumping while it was pouring, I think you rode so well!! Banks really tried to keep it together for you and that dressage judge. Horses never like wind, personally, I think it summons their inner dragon 🐉 Cross country footage was awesome and he was a fiery little dragon! Can’t wait to see how you get on the rest of this season!! I loved the cross country photos! Cheers you survived beautifully! Love from California⛰🌲☀️💙
And they are back😄😄😄. I suppose there was "The Good, The Less Good & The Rain" nothing "bad" or "ugly". I really enjoyed the vlog - your exuberance is catching. It really cheered me up after a horrendous week (my ill health, & health issues for my 2 sons & husband - culmination in a Covid Test today, after 14 months of shielding). You & Emily have helped me thru this year. Thank you both so much. You took part, dealt with foul weather & excited horses & got home safely. The expression on your face Tina as you did Cross Country said it all - sheer joy. My only suggestion might be considering "Calming Cookies" by Premier Performance (for horses) all natural & nothing unacceptable (or dodgy) - Miriam Hackett of "Hackett Equine" swears by them for a horse she rides, Obi, who can get worked up & excitable. Anyway - you did it - look how far you have come, well done, be proud of yourself. Those photos of you & Banksy were magnificent, some of those fences weren't straightforward. Bring on the next vloggy vlog vlog & competition. Poor Dinks missed out on licking Banksy's bucket out. Couple extra treats for Dinks????🙂

That trot work was not at all bad. Yes he was tense, but like he still did nicely, it was just the canter that screwed up your marks because he just wanted to go 🙈🙈 So well done Tina! Also are you allowed ear bonnets or whatever you call them? I dont know if you tried this before, but I have one that is a little soundproof and its dressage legal where im from and it helps loads to keep his concentration and focus and as a bonus he doesnt get rain in his ears when riding in rain, as he hates it! 🎉🎉🎉

I am usually not for unsolicited advice Buuuut..... I reckon fhis might be helpful.... Idk how wide Em's trailer is, or if y'all have a new set up by now, buuuut y'all could get a portable springboard (metal/fold up) to put in the trailer... and put modular/custom sized ply wood boards over the spring board, and an auto-pump air mattress or whatever travel mattresses (maybe full size? You'd have to measure) and then you'd not have to sleep so close to the trailer floor cleaned out or otherwise Ideally all that stuff would lay flat in the pick up, and hay and bedding could be stacked on top, and travel mattresses or the air mattress is ideally as compact as a duffle when packed ya know, in the back seat or the boot
