6:50 I’m glad I found someone who could explain the panning of the synth from left to right. Don’t know much about music production so always had trouble understanding what T.I did to create it. That part of the song always sends me into another dimension, Especially the way it becomes clearer at 7:10. It brings out an emotion I don’t I’ve ever felt from any other song.
You should honestly take an hour and just listen to his albums in full. It takes you on a fucking trip. His first 2 albums “Innerspeaker” and “Lonerism” are a lot more rock based, if you like that type of stuff
Hey Jacob, diggin your East Coast vibe. Fortunately, or unfortunately to have connected to this song at the end of a doomed relationship, here’s posting the lyrics, which your technically savvy reaction paid no mind to. In the absence of the music, entitle yourself, and your readers too, to really feel these words. Few songs capture those final moments of loss and regret. It’s also one of the few that brings me to tears, not for what I was meant to lose, but the poetic beauty that rings so true. And Thank you. If only there could be another way to do this 'Cause it feels like murder to put your heart through this I know I always said that I could never hurt you Well, this is the very, very last time I'm ever going to But I know that I'll be happier And I know you will, too Said, I know that I'll be happier And I know you will, too Eventually Eventually Wish I could turn you back into a stranger 'Cause if I was never in your life, you wouldn't have to change it But I know that I'll be happier And I know you will, too Said, I know that I'll be happier And I know you will, too Eventually Eventually And I know just what I've got to do And it's got to be soon 'Cause I know that I'll be happier And I know you will, too Eventually Eventually Eventually Eventually Eventually Eventually Eventually Eventually
Mmmm this guy is joke. Come on, there are so many musical layers that he didn't mention, most importantly, how the chorus was built up for the climax at the end.
