here i mocked up a corner and used the Everbilt adhesive sealant to bond the Everbilt seam banding instead of thinset mortar because thinset mortar is not waterproof. thinset mortar does soak up water.

Hi, we are using this system in our bathroom. You put the adhesive in the corner as if you were using mud or thin set then applying the banding? What about for the shower board to drywall transition? Thank you for doing these videos😊

Thank you for the comment, i was only testing it as if i was using Thinset in the corners but according to manufacturer, you should use Thinset or Ardex 8+9. Ardex America/Henry company are the manufacturers of the Everbilt Shower System. If you need installation videos for assistance, you can RU-vid the Ardex TLT Shower System, its the exact same system. For shower board to drywall, you'd treat it as if the joint were drywall, use joint compound and joint tape. Make sure to extend the board past the wet area though as you want the waterproofing to extend past wet area.
