I have a 2014 QX80 and truthfully have only ever used those screens in the back but a handful of times. I personally think the technology is ancient and BADLY needs updating. I personally am going to be purchasing 3 iPads and mounting one on the dash as my main info screen and mounting the other two in the back over top of the existing screens. Then I'll simply airplay the main screen to the two in the back and have them all sync'd up! It's a pricey solution, but will still be cheaper than retrofitting out my '14 with an updated system.
We just bought a brand new one and are super pissed at Infiniti to not have a dvd option in their flagship model. Is there any dvd player small enough that you guys would recommend? How can I stream into the screens if I only have the option of usb or hdmi input? Thanks
@@j21226_would you fire stick plug right into the port and work? We have just purchased a used 2020 and I can’t get the screens to play anything from my phone it’s been frustrating
Sadly, I checked into this. Like anything purchased from a dealer, it would cost a fortune! You're honestly better off buying an after market system from a Car Stereo place and have them install it then buy the OEM from Infiniti.
Hi, question: Can you add another set of DVD headrest for the rear seats for a total of 4 DVD Headrests. Or add an overhead DVD screen so the rear passengers can view a movie /Game. Thanks
Does it not allow Disney+ videos? I get an error message saying “Oh no! Something went wrong playing ____(name of movie).” I have downloaded the movie to my phone.
