This is the 2021 Everglades Challenge story for Robert and Druce Finlay, father and son. Our WaterTribe names are IronBob and TheJuice.
Our course was 256 miles. We covered this distance in 72 hours 38 minutes.

This is a great video for new comers like myself. It is the first clear picture I have seen of the actual route. Very impressive accomplishment on many levels. Congratulations !

Great summary - tough head winds at the end.

Yes definitely, tough winds at the end. Yet, some challenges have had those kinds of headwinds the whole way. This year, we did have northerly winds for 2 days. So, all-in-all, we thought, it was a fortunate year for winds.

For anyone wanting to do the EC you should watch this a dozen time to get to know the route. And for those who have done it or will never do the EC, it's fun to live vicariously through enjoying the video. Good music choice.
