@@shiponponn seriously, they're are not even trying hard to be awesome. Their title tracks are AMAZING. They change concepts everytime they come back and it's INSANE.
Everglow and Dreamcatcher are two groups that always seem to come out with smash hits! Everglow's "First" and Aespa's "Next Level" are the two songs this year that really blew me away.
Yes they are experimental , but next level is more because literally 2 songs in one ( whih makes sense because aespa traveled to kwangya to defeat black mamba )
I like this comeback soooo much, not only Sihyeon got sing the most heavenly parts (pre-chorus, 2012 EDM sounds) but E:U got treated decently in the song too! PIRATE AS A SONG IS REALLY A BOP, GOT ME DANCING LIKE THERE WERE NO TOMORROW. _EVERGLOW really can’t make bad songs_

Like, EVERGLOW is special, like I don't even know how to explain it. Like they are just in their own league. They have no bad song imo, so their discography is immaculate. Their performances, vocals, dances, rap everything just slaps so hard. They just get better and better as they grow and I hope they have a breakout in the Asian Market soon cause they are gems. Like they all did soooo well and I'm so proud to be a Forever and have watched them grow since debut. Idc what others have to say, EVERGLOW is one of the leading 4th gen groups and could potentially make it as big as their 3rd gen seniors
"This actually gets better as it goes." There are so little songs you can say that about on a first listen. This song grows while you're first listening and by the end, more than likely, you are sold on it. Everglow at this point has earned the concept of looking at every comeback as going to be a great and powerful song and M/V. Expectations exist for a reason and while it impossible to stay perfect forever, they've done nothing but raise the proverbial bar each and every time.
Mia looks so badass with that badazzled patch and piercings!!! Aisha and her deep sexy voice!!! Onda looking like a Princess!!! E:U giving me Katniss Everdeen vibes!!! Siyeon’s voice in the pre chrous, and Yiren being an absolute legend in that hat that she always wears!!
Yep, I have the same first impression when I saw the video. It is a girl anthem and it really hit so hard that I don't want it to end. Onda reminds me of Asuna from the anime sword art online with that sword. 😭
i loveee this so much!! first wasn't really it for me but god this hitssss, the early 2010s EDM and the sass?? so good, reminds me of a song that could have been on britney's femme fatale album. also, omg onda!! vocal line ate this era up.
Everglow honestly has never served a bad song! This was a chef’s kiss ❤️ And, I agree with you that this song kept getting better as it progressed + I actually see this song will appeal to the general public.
They keep outdoing themselves with every comeback so far. Usually we get one or two comebacks where we get a bit disappointed or only a single title track we love. These girls are my top favorite for groups that have songs that gets my blood pumping
Yea it's true that Onda with pigtails hair she was looking the main character on that part because her outfit and hair all are different from others and Onda is my bias btw 😁👍❤️
I was underwhelmed listening to this on Spotify before watching the MV but after watching the MV O.M.G I'm shook at how good this is, like visually Yho, it will probably have to grow on me as well but so far so good
This is why their one of my favorites. Always amazing songs and choreo. So many new songs out now from do many groups i cant keep up. Even Bang yong guk is back. 2021 ending on a better note
yesss glad i wasn't the only one who thought of t-ara's sugar free as well! the hip movement they do really reminded me of how t-ara did in their chorus too. just different hand movements lol. love this comeback so much though! it definitely is an anthem!
you articulate my feeling perfectly. This song feels like The Boys by SNSD in that it has many "sections" but Pirate ties all that sections into the finale better IMO

This video gives me cowboy bebop vibes with its whole space pirates theme. The music reminds me of la di da mixed with dun dun but also has its own flair. Also onda pulled a ryujin from wannabe at 4:22 and im here for it!
Since you were mentioning t-ara and snsd the hip sway and music around the pre chorus of "I'm a pirate yeah yeah a pirate" reminded me so much of Brown eyed girls - abracadabra. 😂

this is their best song after bon bon chocolat for me personally and so catchy on first listen too! but they never miss any song! also I got chills during sihyeon's girls all over the world. also, mia, onda, and sihyeon stood out for me the most, but everyone did amazing! ahaha first and pirate really does remind me of ateez ahaha but nothing bad about that and both groups are amazing!
Ahh, I don’t know how to feel about this one because I love the prechorus and the bridge but I really don’t like the pirate part and I don’t know if I can ever get used to it, but I wanna listen to the prechorus! 😭 I LOVED la di da but ‘First’ really was NOT my style and I really didn’t like it but I’m happy to see them back with something more my style!

I think the girls have to notice that their members aren’t getting much lines. Like the agency maybe has a certain agenda but as a leader or a member that gets more attention, they should think about the others cause they are a group. No hate to ever glow cause I stan ot6 and it’s possible to get greedy but I feel like the company shouldn’t be entirely blamed

I will definitely have to listen to this song for a while so I like it. Personally after la di da and first I think my expectations were way too high and pirate brought them back down which makes me excited for the next comeback.
