LaDiDa got me into Everglow. First is my favorite track. I wasn't sure about Zombie on first listen, but the more I listen to it the more I like it. Personally Iike that they did something very different. I got to do the meet and greet after their concert in Louisville last Nov and had a Polaroid taken with my bias Onda! And Aisha is pronounced Ah-Sha.
Mia is such an ace. She's definitely the strongest dancer and performer, also the best vocalist to me. She's actually the only official main vocalist in the group. Sihyeon is lead.
Haha I’m so happy about someone reacting to Everlgow, although like you said, I identify as an EDM junkie, I can appreciate all their songs, looking forward to you reacting to the last 2, Dun Dun and Pirate!!
I'm always happy to see new people reacting to Everglow! It's the group that got me into kpop, so they'll forever have a special place in my heart. I'm not going to deny that they have worse and better songs, but I still love them. As you mentioned before, unfortunately they had a big hiatus due to some unfortunate events which taxed their popularity a lot, and with all the other super popular girl groups around, they have a very rough time gaining traction again, which sadly reflects on their MV views and general popularity. But they are definitely trying and that's what matters! As for recommendations, I'd say from your opinion on the group so far, you'd enjoy Dun Dun. My second recommendation would be Slay, but I'm a bit scared to recommend this due to the song getting criticism for it's post-chorus. I personally like it a lot, and I think it's most definitely worth a listen. I believe both of these songs would fit your taste a bit better than La Di Da and Adios did. All in all, thank you for giving them a chance and I'm glad you loved First. Hope to see you try a few of their other songs! PS: My personal bias is Yiren, she's definitely a bit shy and on the more quiet end, but she's and incredible dancer and a very kind soul.

Something to me has always been slightly off about the music specifically with Everglow. The girls are absolutely great, no problems there. The videos aren't bad either. First and Zombie are the only tracks that have any impact though, personally. They're getting views so it must be a me thing. Dun Dun does kinda hit though too I'd check that out next.
I understand not liking this song because at this point the retro synth style is very overdone in kpop (i mean not for me im living). at the time that this song came out however everglow was one of the first groups to try and bring this sound back and so at the time it was very refreshing.
I’m so glad you’re still checking out more everglow. This is actually my favorite title track and billboard named this song as the best kpop song from 2020, they were also one of the first groups to get into retro before the big retro wave in kpop. This is definitely a fans favorite but I understand that the retro concept/sound isn’t for everyone. Also I think Onda looks so much like Ningning from aespa in certain angles, I remember when ningning went blonde I swear I thought she was onda😭
