Evergo "Banana Fan" 52" ceiling fan in brown/polished brass. The light kit and glass are as originally on the fan when I got it, except one globe was broken so the one in the center is not correct. This is a really noisy fan, it gets a little better after it's run for a minute but still hums a lot. Has an unresolved wobble on high due to one misaligned arm (not sure when or how that got bent), but these arms feel so light and brittle to me that I don't dare put too much pressure on it. Despite not being very fast or super powerful, it does move a fair amount of air like my all brown Banana Fan.

That's okay with me, because I actually like that humming sound (when picking up speed on low and perhaps medium too), and I bet RayShawn (user iluupoohbear97) might like the hear of it too. :D

I am regretting all the Bananafans I passed up, and the ones I gave away. If you ever want to part with any, especially dual pullchain ones, send them my way!

Not all of them. I don't think I've ever seen a spinner motor one with that, but I could be wrong. Usually it's on the shaded pole fans, if any.

There's this antique and junk barn 30 minutes from my house and there's one of these NIB in white with cane very cool I might get it soon and there's a Evergo floral fan hugger there.

Someone decided the vents look like bananas, and the nickname stuck amongst collectors. These don't have any one specific model name, so we have to use some sort of universal name to reference them.

When models either don't have a specific name (like this fan) or the name isn't known, people tend to pick out a detail that can be used as an umbrella term for that specific fan so that it can be referenced and people will immediately know what it being talked about. At some point, someone thought the vents in the housing looked like the general curved shape of a banana and the nickname stuck.

Ok, it has very characteristic vents. I don't remembered of Bananas when I viewed the vents, but there isn't a name for this fan?

Unlike most manufacturers who typically give each of their fans a model name, Evergo never really did that with their own fans. The only thing they really assigned were model numbers, which don't distinguish much (example, 4E-3LW), so when it comes to Evergo it's essentially all collector lingo associated.
