@@HesperianHorsePower Personally, I prefer the magnets. A zip is locked in to what the zip can tolerate, and velcro is loud and (again, this is a personal thing) the scratchy part of the velcro can get caught on clothing other nearby fabrics - this happens with my Peak Design Field kit...i like that bag, but I like the innovation of having magnets with a wide field of contact here. This is one of those things that won't please everyone, especially since it adds to the bottom line. But I don't mind paying a bit more here...so it suits me.
CAP1: “And it won’t open by accident” Opens by accident not a minute earlier. I like the CAP1 from what I’ve seen so far but to me the magnets while covering the form and function model well they just seem like more of a gimmick than a reliable closure system. Especially since they raise the price of the pouch so much. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over time as well as under the pressure of a completely stuffed pouch.
Hello everyone Even though i’m in Vietnam , I hope you make a CTB 35 x-pac version that i will buy right away even though it’s too expensive for me Sorry for my english
Great bag and review, but please stop saying « you can slot pens in these loops » this is ridiculous. I see this CBT35 as a serious competitor to the Peek Design Travel bag
Great new bag! Good size selection for travel. Not too big so that you can't use it during the day once you arrive to your destination. I like the boxier dimension also, wider is better to gain volume. I just got one!
Damn! I knew it was gonna be expensive because it’s Evergoods, but $349... Might still buy it, even though I don’t need it (already have a Tortuga Setout Divide and an Aer Capsule Backpack). I’ll probably wait for a deal though. Definitely getting that tool pouch! Great video! Thanks!
