As an owner of this bag, some negatives that you didn't point out: - no strap holders so, as you can see in the video, lot of dangle. - like with many evergoods bags, short shoulder straps. So bit more volume on the chest and the strapends will dig in your armpits. - only comfortable with lighter weight because otherwise it buckles and the shoulder straps are thin. The front pocket has drain holes as well. Really nice for when I want to store my gloves or jacket there. I do like the muted design and all the pockets and design. But euhm, these "reviews" are more a product overview. At least how they feel to me.
not taking away from this video, i enjoyed it - but I agree with you most youtubers have forgotten that review and overview are 2 different things. It feels like a lot of them are afraid to share their opinions so as not to miss out on future "review" opportunities.
Great detailed video as usual. This is a very interesting backpack. I’ve always liked the MPL 30, this smaller version is on point. Unless you are an avid consistent biker I think that waist strap is useless though IMO. I’m going to consider getting this for summer time outdoors use.
Does it feel tighter/smaller than the CHZ when trying to pack it out, for example with packing cubes? I assume the 22l volume is divided up between the main compartment and the front panel - so if you don't fully pack the front panel then you are losing out?
Looks like a nice pack. I like the bellroy venture 26 too. I’d like to see the comparison video that you mentioned. But, if you had to choose between the two which one would you choose?

I bought both the black venture ready and solution dyed black mpl22. In short they are both great but if you load up the venture 26 the straps are thin and not very padded. I’ve since bought the ecopak mpl22 and it’s a much better bag than the standard 420d. And elevates this pack over the bellroy imo, plus evergoods covers it for life vs 3 years from bellroy

Bro that bag is so dated. There are 500 review of that thing lol it needs some updating. The harness system is comfortable but the back panel is a sweat factory
