'Everlasting Classics': U.S. PhD remixes hit song with ancient Chinese 

first part of the lyrics was written by a well known philosopher at least 2500 years ago, the second part was written by the greatest poet in Chinese history who lived 1500 year ago. and Christine wrote the third part and made this a perfect song.

The poet (Li Bai) would never imagine his poem was sang so beautifully by a foreigner and loved by all after 1000 years.

Christine knows more Chinese classical literature than most of the Chinese. And she can sings...bravo!

We need more talents like her to bridge the gap between two of the greatest countries in the world. I hope we can set political difference aside and march towards a bright future where we can all coexist.

Can't find a proper word to describe how amazing Christine is, just perfect! For people who don't know the context because it's written in Chinese, as an American girl she wrote the lyrics all by herself in which she quoted ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi (even as a Chinese I have to rely on the English version lyrics to understand the exact meaning...), and the Chinese lyrics are written so beautifully that its poetic beauty just fits the melody. She can't get it so perfectly if she doesn't have the deep understanding of the original Zhuangzi. Even more, in this version, she added Rap to the song and the wording in her Rap part is written in ancient Chinese style and that's just awesome, not to mention how perfectly match the ancient Chinese wording is with the rhythm of the Rap!
