this is a new song for BATB and I feel like I've been singing along to it for the last 25 years.

It loses very little without the filtering. His voice is beautiful and the feeling he illicits is exquisite. Stevens has a wonderful trained acting ability to emote all his feelings into a song. Bleeding it dry. This rendition is even better than Josh Grobans. Even without the filtering. You feel the ache and longing in this rendition . And the beauty as well.

Isn't it nice to hear someone who sings every word clearly -- he should do this more often. He does sing in an episode of Legion -- The Rainbow Connection -- and plays the banjo -- it's very touching and one of the sweetest scenes in a show that generally makes me want to hide under the bed with a large crow bar.

The strength of emotion Dan puts into this song proves the Beast is filled with unrequited love. If this song, sung by Dan, doesn't carry you away with emotion then you have never experienced love and loss, and . . . isn't those emotions the biggest part of being human?

Dan Stevens is awesome and has a wonerful voice !

He also sang a small tune in Season 2 of Downton Abbey. Compared to this audio, it's very close to his natural singing voice in the very beginning. However, as the song progresses, it gets a bit too high after the bridge. Disney magic, I tell you, haha.

Its kinda sad that people cant tell that this video is auto-tuned in an attempt to reverse the sound alteration to create the Beasts voice. guys, you can tell within the first line of the song that its been auto-tuned to make the voice sound higher pitched directly from the movie, yes, Dan Stevens can actually sing, but this completely altered sound from the movie.

Some other people have adjust it through Audacity too, but yours it´s the closest to Dan´s voice!

What a beautiful voice and so full of emotion and sincerity. Listen to him sing Rainbow Connection -- Legion -- he is terrified and trying to warn Syd and you can that emotion in his voice -- this guy should be on Broadway. Even if I cannot get there to see him. Wonderful.

My mom and I were both shocked when we found out this was originally made for the movie. It sounds like it was in the original! Also when I saw this movie in March, I was shocked because it was so good! I had some doubts before seeing it

I like the Josh Groban version a lot but, he uses to much vibrato in places where he doesn't need it in my opinion. Dan holds those big power moments with just a strong singular beautiful note and then adds the vibrato towards the end.

Dan actually has a low singing voice, as evidenced by his creeeeepy rendition of Rainbow Connection and his blink and you'll miss stint on Downton. Of course they "whack up the bass" for this movie, but really Dan did most of the work.
