Augs can be SO confusing! No 2 ways about it.... I first learned of the type3 augs when Ring of Scale came out. (aka EoK 2.0 or EoK part 2) So I assumed that the next round of type 3's would be in CoV (aka ToV 2.0)....but Noooo...they put them in on ToV in EW and I just found THAT out like a week ago! LOL What I've learned, as a necro, is they are ok, but NOT needed for taking down rare mobs solo. I did fine without them. I currently have 6 of them and plan to get just 2 more. I am still working on my Threaded gear and don't want to waste a purifier on a type 3 aug when I upgrade gear. (you can get an item from the loyalty vendor, or marketplace, to unattune them) Rock on man.
Purity on an item will pull stats from the power source you have equipped. If an item equipped that has 50 purity that item will pull 50% of the stats on the power source. If you then equip a Purity 20 augment into that item, you would bring that item up to a purity of 70 and will then get 70% of the stats on your power source. Might not seem like a lot, but when you have 8 slots to increase your purity with, it adds up. The drawback is that the higher your purity level overall, the faster your power source will drain and then become useless. Hope this helps
is the game even populated, specialöly low level areas/mid? multiboxing in videogames turn me the fck off... and i assume for most people... does the game have custom addons, UI wise etc..
There are also these focus type 3 augs for spells in Beasts domain near the ZL to Argath, or whatever its called, I've never used them, they are too high maintenance. I like to just stick an aug in and forget about it. I generally do not like augs at all.
Purity does only effect Armor pieces. Remember you can de aug them via the loyalty vendor Alerynril the loyal using perfected augmentation distiller for 432 crowns. For your powersources you can make the newer ones . You will need to complete step 5 of rallos zek earring quest. There are 4 versions you can make Protector for tanks Mendicant for priests convoker for dmg casters and assulter for melee dps. I am sure for tol there will be a something similar lucinite ect ect source. Hdex ac augs for your sk your spot on for that. Hint will increase your mana regen but if your tap tanking sta might be good for you. As far as Heroic stats are concerned if you wanna kinda min max this stat it ranks up every 25 points. There are ways to up this stat Progressions that you complete and or missions that up your heroic by x and via trophies for personal tribute. Just as a example there is the anni tent quest this is a good one and completing Paragon of the Darkened sea you will get a trophy called Trophy of the seafarer. As far as tips to quickly up your research easily do Combat spellbooks you will need to tinkering as well to make the mana battery part but you can up your tinkering using Black powder bombs. Slot 3 augs tol can be bought in Maidens eye.
Great info thx do you think they have a road map like that for trade skills as far as maxing them out the easiest way possible or has the best information on that?
eqtraders.com has the best trade skill info. EqProgression.com has some tradeskill guides that work okay for live but more TLP focus. 300+ is just learning new recipes and takes a while =\
