Great that you like it - but not all songs are Warhammer 40k inspired, so it´s not a "real" concept album this time. The title track is inspired by the Horus Heresy and Cpt. Garviel Loken :D
Other themes are Dragon Age Origins and the Grey Wardens, Elder ScrollsV: Skyrim and one song based on a book called " Die Elfen" bei Bernhard Hennen...
Ohhh, this sounds like old Blind Guardian. Not bad, for me it`s great! A mixture of "Somewhere Far Beyond" and "Tales From The Twighlight World". Keep Melodic Speed Metal alive! Greetz Havi
For my father caliban and the imperium let the fury of the first fall upon his enemies the traitor and the faul xenos!! Bring his wrath and fury in his name! Azrael;Let no one survive the 6 wings of hexagrammation and his masters!
i like the instrumentals, and I like the lyrical content, but the vocal rhythm changes completely from line to line, and there's little consistency to the flow. Sure, each line works individually, but they don't fit together in any aspect aside from the theme. This song could have worked if they took a step back and decided to make a good song first, then reworked the lyrics to make it fit the theme they were going for. As is, though... it's not the worst thing out there, but it's not good, either.
I get the impression that the lyrics are supposed to be two -- possibly three -- voices responding to one another from different perspectives. Hence the different editing and emphasis on them in the mix?
