What a magical day that was. What Liverpool fans don't get is that its not about what trophies you've won. If I supported a team on that basis I would support Man utd cos they have won more trophies than anyone else to date. Everton till I die and if there is an afterlife Everton for all eternity!
I'm a Liverpool fan but I'm also an Atletico Madrid fan and it is horrible having these long runs without a win against your richer neighbours. So I don't begrudge Everton fans a victory every now and then, they deserve to enjoy football as much as Liverpool fans. Atletico didn't beat Real between 1999 and 2013. And now again no win since 2015 which is depressing.

A rare win indeed for us blues but as for that third goal it's laughable rein a could of pushed it further out or easier still punched it away that put us top of the league,we didn't stay there for too long,anyway that was years ago haven't beat them since ,lpool twice beat us 16/17 season just gone but I'm hoping with it being koemans first full year we will do better v lpool and the rest even though lukaku is leaving I can't wait to see who we get as a replacement,I reckon he'll be from abroad unless we can get sneak of the season and sign aguero ,imagine that,he isn't get much time on the pitch with cities new signings so I can see him defo going but to everton I just doubt it all we have to show for a poor season still is Europa league and we have to qualify for that

Sadly, as an Evertonian, I have to agree. Liverpool were a mess and arguably all any opponent that day had to do was turn up. I still enjoyed the win, though!
