Wish you would have titled it properly. Like Ranked based on paint. Thought this would be more about components and bike setup.

Cervelo and Colnago isn’t worry about their bikes being shown off. Special paint job isn’t exactly a priority. They just hope to be sending a fully yellow bike for stage 21

Actually the Cervelo's ridden by Jumbo Visma all have those starry patterns. Each of the riders was allowed to share a pivotal moment in their life and the stars as they were present on that specific day have been painted on the bikes. Jonas Vingegard chose the day his son was born for example. Pretty cool if you ask me!

I agree. I love the borderline gaudiness of the Art Decor paint on my mid-90's Colnago, despite the orange-black-natural Ti fade being more subdued than some of the other designs of the era. It gives me a lot to look at during long hours in the saddle. "Colnago" on the frame in 13 places.

Appreciate you showing all the bikes because it's hard to get a showing of them all together like that. Everyone one of these bikes are fantastic pieces of engineering and they are going over 50 mph (80 km) on sprints and down mountains and climbing up mountains. That being said your opinion is your opinion. You're entitled to it. But to say a bike is "boring" is a stretch. I'm not seeing boring. I'm seeing cutting edge in all of them. What's the average price of each? $12,000 - $15,000? Not boring. Eye opening. Thanks. Appreciated.

So you view the best bike by paint job alone - interesting.....I would also look at Aerodynamics, weight, handling, gearshift positions, and overall design of frame and wheels.

It would be good to see a rank of cycling you-tubers, at least it would be relevant 😂

I just love the finish of the Look and of course the Wilier is another refreshing design, I would love to have both of them.

You should've included more of the unique paintjobs ridden by the Trek team. Notice that they all had cool unique paintjobs. Obviously the one Pederson is on is super cool, but there is a blue one that has kind of a crystalline pattern to it and its very nice. A red one with the same idea. Then there are 3 with a smoky kind of background, one light blue, one bright red, and one kind of white or light grey. Then there is the final bike ridden by the American champion which is also iridescent like Mads Pedersons bike, but the chrome covers most of the bike and its just the logo that is colored. They all look really good but i love the iridescent looks and the crystalline patterned ones. Very very very pretty, all of them. I would jump at the opportunity to ride any of those. Same with the Wilier paints, very nicely done. Beautiful and unique.

I don't care what anybody says, both the paint and frame look brilliant on the madone. Minus the huge decals of course, they really need to size those way down.

I agree with most of your views - but that Look bike is possibly the most minging bike I’ve ever seen. On all levels. Nasty!

The blue on the S works is really nice. It reminds me of the Allez Epic carbon lugged frame from the 90's. I have one in a Burgundy / dark metallic red. The fades are very similar. I would jump at a new Aethos in the same color.

I’m not a black bike fan either I love colour and gloss finishes looks so nice.. and when watching the Tour my eyes are attracted to the colours 😊 and makes me want to ride the bikes.. just my opinion.. Pete

As I commented on another similar video on another channel, a lot of these bikes aren't available to mortals. Pro teams get frames with special carbon fiber lay-ups done by the manufacturer's most experienced workers, and then the frames get a full inspection.

The Trek reminds me of S-works SL5 Chameleon which I loved - not sure about the Trek frame though it does look a little clunky and the paintwork, if I'm honest, a little OTT - still a lovely bike but overall slightly disappointed with the colour schemes this year.

Not a lot to get excited about tbh, so many boring looking bikes. Probably the Giant Propel looks best to me, if not for the giant Cadex logos on the wheels.

It really feels like cube is the forgotten brand :D They try so hard with their neon green logos and kit but never get mentioned what so ever. I wonder why this is?

Massive Trek fan and owner, but for me personally that blue Willer paint way is just lush and pips Mads madone. Both are stunning though.

I have to disagree on the Bianchi. I like the swoopy lines. The paint is really cool. Most of the other bikes with sight variations, look the same. Boring! I like the looks of the bar but I would reserve judgement based on how it feels when riding. Form should always follow function.

Bianchi is definitely not the ugly duckling probably should be in the top five. Dare definitely the ugliest bike of the tour!!

So many black bikes - they look exactly the same, boring! Even the dull white bikes stand out. I am torn between TotalEnergy and Mads Pederson bikes. Cavendish bike looks worse than the team's interesting color scheme that's very close 3rd for me.

The fact that Bora's jerseys are the coolest looking in the peloton is a sad indictment on the general state of the jerseys this year. They're all so freaking ugly. Except Bora's. Bora's are just okay.

You left out CUBE ridden by team Intermarché Circus Wanty. They have the peleton's only black rider in Biniam Girmay too. It has a dark cameo blue paint job with fluorescent yellow accents and huge fluorescent yellow CUBE logo on the downtube. Tough to miss, mate. I think you missed DARE too. No harm meant I'm sure.

I would place the Canyon right after the Bianchi as the ugliest bike just because they went overboard with the name placement (they put it even on the stem and bar!).

Your picks were great. The Willier is by far the best. The Trek has an awful looking frame design that looks like it should crack and fail catastrophically. At that point the paint matters little. The Trek is cringe.

dare bikes have a very intuitive custom paint scheme that they offer upon making a purchase, but they decided to ship blacked out bikes to their team on tour de france?

Modern Colnago's are defiling the history of the brand wirh these "modern" paint jobs. Simply horrible.

Weight of a bike determines how quick you move over mountains and hilly terrain,for me the current tour bikes are heavy.I believe Trek produced a road bike that weighed 10lbs over a decade ago.UCI should allow for lighter bikes.

Black bikes are only for urban commuter bikes that you are trying to keep the thieves from spotting. Everything not black looked awesome! :)

The Trek paint jobs take the cake this year, their frame engineering and design are in last place. I wonder what happened to Specialized paint studio, they did some real bangers in the past.

Dare is not cool

To me, Pinarello is boring now, Trek is too much (keep it more simple), Specialised will follow the Pinarello very soon, Scott still does the job very well. My favorites are Cannondale and 1st is Look as very thin bikes and great paint job!

I was with you until #1. That Trek has interesting paint, but what an ugly frame! If you painted them both black, I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference between it and the Bianchi.
