The AI narrator does have its faults, it overall was a good story. My only gripe is that when it repeats entire segments of the story.

I love these types of stories. I listen to a lot of them. I would think that with all of the technology that's at play here, that someone would invent a circuit breaker so that they wouldn't keep damaging their consoles...????

It is funny hearing my last name being used in a story. I love it, even knowing that there is no connection to me.

Pop out the lance rail thing and open up the missile tubes that we hid from the council. Galactic Council: And you questioned why we did let you in?

20 minutes in I'm wondering whether a human reviewed this plot at any point. There are plot holes all over the place.

I would like to say that I enjoyed a little more than the first half of this story. However, it was almost as if a different author took over and steered the great Defiant into a universal brown paper bag it could find it's way back out of. Sorry, but I just couldn't hold on to finish it the whole thing.

It started great but then they just immediately joined a random expedition? wtf 🤦🏽‍♂️ it looks like th humans don’t need the council so this whole thing fell apart after that

The utter ridiculousness of some of these “scenes “ is overwhelming! The main character walks into congress and with one sentence disbands it and creates something else!?!? Did a child write this ? Because no adult would think of such utter nonsense.

Who wrote this Tom Clancy repetitive “the road will be long and hard” every 2 minutes? Great story but if Reyes says it any more often I am skipping the rest of the story. For reference, Tom Clancy’s Sum of All Fears was “nukes are scary” seemingly twice a chapter. For the record these stories great and funny in the right areas.

It would be an extremely good story. Whatever the cost, whatever the cost whatever the cost and many other filler words are repetitive The story has extremely good bones, but the skin and muscle lacked the intention to detail to make up a polished story. I am enjoying the story The author shows potential The plot line is far better developed than some of Jane Austen’s early works such as love and friendship😂

20 min in and I'm hella confused.

I had a hard time staying focused on it with the amount of commercials. I really wanted to listen to the whole thing but it felt like every 5 mins there was a commercial. For a 3+ hour story and the feeling of almost every 5 mins ads showing up, I gave up on it an hour in. I spent more time listening and skipping commercials then enjoying the story.

Let's be real here. I like the story and all, but an ad break every 5 minutes makes it damn near unbearable
