Anyone else notice how close Lorenzo Carter was to stripping that pass on its release? Uncanny awareness by Herbert feeling the pressure, rushing the throw out off balance, knowing there was zero time, and dropping a dime. It’s poetry in motion.

Get him a right tackle, can you imagine what he'd do with a solid OL? The first thing the GOAT did when he went to Tampa Bay was chew out their O Line. He was all over Ryan Jensen. That's the key, a good offensive line. When RT Tristen Wirfs got injured in the playoffs Brady knew it was over.

As a native Oregonian I watched this kid through high-school and college. Very humble. Multi sport talented. Under coached and under appreciated at every level. The kinda kid you would want your daughter to marry. Definitely one of if not the best QBs in the league. You're welcome San Diego!

I agree. This was just different. Maybe Mahomes and Allen have slightly better arms when it comes to throwing from different arm angles. But when Herbert can set his feet and bomb it, he's got the strongest arm in NFL. Maybe prime Rodgers can make this throw. That's about it

When I was a kid inbetween football seasons I’d catch some CFL on ESPN because I was so starved for football. The CFL played in the summer. I even got excited when the 5 o’clock news showed Chargers spring training camp and scrimmages with the Rams. Now there’s the Chargers channel on RU-vid to scratch that itch.

Dude if getting his Oline healthy, which means he stays healthy, could have a legendary season this coming year. Like one that could re-write all the records.

I don't think we'll ever see something like that again. Herbert rolls to his right while keeping his eyes downfield and has half a second to set his feet to rip a 70-yard bomb from his 33-yard line. The Giants' safeties didn't even think it was humanly possible for the ball to make it to Guyton on that play. Unreal 🤯
