I agree and disagree with this comment :) This bridge ranges from a C4 to an F5, which isn't THAT big of a range for a trained singer (it's just an octave and a half, which sounds like a lot but isn't really), but it's still very impressive considering that most people switch into their head voice around a C5-E5. F5 is a phenomenal note to be able to belt, and the fact that Anchan, Rikyako, Aiai, and Suwawa all hit it in their chest voice/mix is very impressive. The only bit I disagree with is that the other five did take it into their head voices - that's not to put them down at ALL, though, because an F5 in general is pretty difficult to hit without the proper training and the average person can't belt it anyway :) Shuka, Kinchan, Ainya, Aikan, and Arisa all sounded incredible, too! It's just one impressive note in a very long, very difficult bridge to sing. In fact, my three favorites in this video all took it in their head voice (Ainya, Aikyan, and Shuka)! Fun fact: Surprisingly, Suwawa actually has the most difficult "part" of the bridge in the full unit song! The bridge begins in the key of F, but Kanan's "nami ga tatte tatte" actually changes the key to Eb! It's incredibly difficult to switch keys so quickly (and without much of an instrumental guide, considering the flow of the song wants her to push that Ab up to an A), and I give her tons of props for that. For having one of the less technically advanced voices in Aqours, she DOES know her way around music, and it shows. Personally, I believe her and Anchan are the most skilled with key changes - Chika has TONS of them in her solos (Chika's solo, One More Sunshine Story, is the only one of the nine released to include a key change!).

Allison Gruetzner i agree with you! the girls who switched to chest voice are especially phenomenal but everyone sounds great, and Suwa switching keys is also awesome I hadn’t noticed that

I couldn't agree more :( it's unfortunate that they don't advise Suwawa more. But she did improve a bit if you heard her on Day 2 of Tokyo Dome! Which was nice ❤️

In the end, I believe that Suwawa is a great singer, but Kanan's voice is vastly different from her actual voice, so it must be really really hard for her to sound as good as she sounds in the studio during Lives 😪

@@rikowiththediamondmouth That's why I only mentioned her belts. Shuka is really good when it comes to belting and when she's not tired or trying to be super cute, it comes out really clear and powerful.

I don't know, in my opinion, I feel out of the 1st years she gets more attention than Ruby and Yoshiko? For example (if you've watched the anime, which I'm sure you have), Ruby joined Aqours first but somehow Hanamaru is credited as the 4th member? Not hating or anything. I might stan Ruby but I love Hanamaru as well.

Thapelo Sishi I strongly disagree. Sorry, but Hanamaru definitely got the least attention and that’s a fact. Her only focus or shine throughout the entire show was her episode with Ruby. Ruby got the whole Saint Snow arc in S2, and My Mai Tonight. Yoshiko got s1 e5 to herself and also got the YohaRiko episode. On top of that, she has a lot of solo lines whereas Ruby and Hanamaru do not.

Honestly all of them don't get that much attention. I feel Ruby got the arc because out of the 3, she was the least developed. All she was known for was being unintentionally cute

But in all honesty, should Hanamaru have gotten the spotlight, what would happen? What would her arc be? I mean, there's the getting bullied for being out of touch with technology and being alone before meeting Ruby thing, but that's it. She couldn't have an arc like Rin's (the μ's member she admired and who's image color she shared), since she's pretty feminine. Unless you're talking about her music wise, which is another topic altogether

StrawberryPopYT Honestly yeah. I’ve always been a fan of Kanan’s voice, although it isn’t the most developed, it’s one of the strongest ones sometimes. I’m so happy with this solo.

I dont know why people dont like Kanans voice, it used to be my most favourite before Yoshiko took over. Not everyones voice can be as strong as Hanamarus or Yoshikos or as chilling as Maris. Some peoples voices can be simple and Kanan really gave that impression

I admit I'm bias because I love Mari/Ainya; however, I do love Zuramaru/King and hope they receive well-deserved spotlight. In the end though I would like all nine girls getting more equal attention. It pains me to think that Zura, Ruby, and Riko still have zero group solo centers. These nine queens all deserve love🌈

Personally, I rank Chika's voice about 8th in my favorite Aqours voices list, right above Kanan but behind Ruby, because there are some songs where she sounds really good (I love her opening solo in Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare) and there are songs that make her sound too childish for my taste (I still cringe slightly when hearing her solo in HPT, as it comes right after the awesome RikoYou solos, and her solo in Daydream Warrior ruins what would be a perfect song). Of course, Mari, Maru and Yoshiko are still the top-tier singers in Aqours, but Chika's voice has really improved from when Aqours began (and she's not the only one; Ruby has also improved drastically from when Aqours started too). But hey, like I said, I respect your opinion. I'm just happy that Chika's solo sounds pretty good this time around. :)

@@rikowiththediamondmouth king (sadly) isn't the most popular one in japan but maru is ( which you can clearly see from the various polls where maru is often to be in the top three and her fanarts ) honestly, the fourth center will probably the competition between the first years ( since ruby becomes as popular as she used to be before the first season aired and there's the movie that shows more character developments of her so she has a big possibility to win too). I will vote for both maru and mari though.
