Thank you for appreciating Last Action Hero 🙏🏻❤️ one of me and my dad’s favorite movies of all time, way ahead of its time, unappreciated for decades, a truly fantastic outing
We need to know the stipulations and requirements to make this list, is it the film? Is it his performance? Is it both because this list argues against all of them.
Sabotage was supposed to be a remake of 10 Little Indians, but the producers thought we need more Arnold, and cut out all of exposition explain the plot
1st WhatCulture video i have hugely disagreed with in a while. The placing of some of these is strange and i dont agree with the narration points but to each their own i guess.
Are these your opinions or based on Rotten Tomatoes scores? If this is your opinions, I respect that but if is based on Rotten Tomatoes scores I don't because I don't respect Rotten Tomatoes or critics.
End of days is actually a decent movie which maybe would have better suited another actor. The premise is good but i always felt that Arnie was miscast in that role
"Running Man" a "Strong Stephen King adaptation"??? They have obviously never read the Bachman book. The only things that the book and the movie have in common are the main character's name and the fact that there is a game show. Everything else is so far off as to be unrecognizable. Now, mind you, as a movie, it IS enjoyable...but only if you've either never read the book or pretend that you haven't.
if we compare Dark fate to Genisys having re watched both awful films and T3 rise of the machines, then sorry WC you have it wrong Gen is way better than Fate and hate to say it but T3 is better than both, and so is salvation better ! I am going to hang my head in shame but Fate is the worst T movie ever filmed.
Dark Fate is definitely worse than Genesis and 6th Day. Genesis at least tried something different (albeit not good) instead of just rehashing previous movies worse
As a life-long Arnold fan, it's hard to dispute this list... however I HATED the JR movie and would've had it WAY lower on the list. I probably would've had Pumping Iron on here as well... but that's just me. Great job!
While the order of Arnold's best movies is certainly debatable, Terminator is more iconic than Arnold's character in Predator and thus more deserving of the top spot. The star of Predator is Predator. The star of Terminator is Arnold. Also, The 6th Day is highly underrated in my opinion and I don't care what anybody says!
The problem with escape plan (which is addressed in the video) is we should have gotten the Arnold Stallone wayyyy earlier, a mid 90s action movie with the two of them would have been a blockbuster home run (except back then, neither would accept being 2nd billing to the other…. But my argument has always been if Harrison ford and Tommy Lee jones could do it? What’s the issue)
My most favorite Arnie movies are Commando, The Running Man, Predator, Last Action Hero, Total Recall, all of the Expendables movies, The Terminator, Terminator 2, True Lies, and Raw Deal.
Schwarzenegger was my childhood matinee hero? I was 5 when I first watched my first Arnold Schwarzenegger film in the theater, Conan the Destroyer. I watched almost every movies of his on the big screen. My favorite movie of his is Total Recall. Watching the movie with an audience was so much fun. People would cheer, applaud for the amazing effects and action scenes. Same with kindergarten cop. One moment you’re in action film then turn to a comedy where Arnold has to battle little kids. You can feel a joy inside the auditorium. I did watch the last action hero in almost empty theater. The movie was hyped up before it was released as the greatest action movie. That made me miss the point of the main story. And I did not enjoy the movie as much as I do now at 45yrs old. I was that kid in the empty theater buying a ticket to be transport into the story. I loved watching movies in the old run down majestic movie theaters on Hollywood Blvd from 83-98 now boarded up or town down.
