Nemesis inferno in late 2023 had intensified soo much and now is one of my favourite coasters in Thorpe park it has ridden soo different from the beginning of 2023 to the late 2023, nemesis inferno was getting more intense but I have never seen any coaster intensify soo much though a year. Now it definitely deserves a higher spot
What I find that I want from an invert is that it feels like it’s going to rip my legs off. Alpengeist is my personal favorite invert in America for that reason. (The trims also didn’t hit as hard this past season.) Also I found that Batman clones ride very differently resulting in very different places for me. Out of 14 inverts Great white and Batman at great adventure are bottom two, Goliath is 9, and Batman at over Georgia is top 3. For some reason the one in Georgia runs so much faster than the other ones.
I just got home from Japan where I rode 16 rollercoasters among Nagashima Spa Land, Tobu Zoo, Fuji-Q Highlands, Universal, Sea Paradise and Shima Spain Village. And I was so surprised to find myself loving Pyrenees most out of all the rollercoasters on this trip. I didn't even know I liked inverted rollercoasters. Even Eejanaika came second in fun factor for me.
I have no problem with a creator making lists of coasters they haven’t ridden, so long as they call it a prediction list or just admit up front that they haven’t ridden all the coasters in the list. You did this, and so I have no problem with this video, and I enjoy videos like this. BUT I do think it’s particularly hard to predict how good an invert will be until you’ve ridden it. At least that’s how it’s been for me. Anyway, I can’t rank all the inverts I’ve been on, but I can label the best in each category. Montu - best g forces/most intense Afterburn - best pacing Black Mamba - best visuals Oziris - best airtime/fun hills and drops Katun - best first drop Talon - smoothest Great Bear - best night ride
Honestly Inferno has gotten more intense as the years have gone on, every time I’ve been on it it’s been the smoothest ride at the park. It’s no Nemesis but it’s a really enjoyable intense ride. The only issue I have with it is that it’s short. The best thing about it is the interlocking screws
Nemesis Inferno was the coaster that made me a coaster enthusiast. It has great pacing and is more intense than you may expect. Nemesis is my second favourite coaster. Montu is my favourite coaster
Black Mamba pulls some pretty good Gs (more than Monster and Oziris, the other Inverts i rode) in its Final Helixes. And the theming adds more than you might expect. Its a permanent foot chopper and the Corkscrews surprise you as they really come out of nowhere. You wonder where you are going and snap - you are upside down
The mid course break run on alpengiest used to be really rough a few years ago but I rode it last summer and it was not rough anymore they also made the chain lift a lot quieter.
Nemesis inferno is so intense, I feel ill from how intense it can be sometimes. More than I have that feeling on nemesis besides the Helix tbh. Great vid tho
I have no idea if I’m in the minority here, but monster at gröna Lund is one of my favorite coasters. It’s glass smooth and actually delivers great airtime in the first drop. Although, yes, it’s short, yes, it doesn’t have a loop, and yes, the scenery is pretty bad (other than the first drop over the water), this is still a really good ride.
Great list! Your videos are amazing! Also my dad hasn't been on many coasters but he can say for sure that B&M Inverts are his favorite type of coaster, which is very respectable.
I heard of Pyrenees being super intense which makes me want to ride it so bad. I love intense coasters like Oziris and Nemesis. Both Katun and Pyrenees looks good
Of those I've ridden, and in this order, my favourite five are/were Fire Dragon, Nemesis, Montu, Raptor and OzIris. Favourite element, the helix over the water on the then PGAm's Top Gun, followed by the Nemesis helix.
Great list! The only Batman clone I’ve ridden is the one at SFOG and people seem to say it’s one of it not the best. Because of this and nostalgia it’s my favorite invert over the other 3 I’ve ridden (Raptor, Afterburn, and Alpengeist). That being said it’s super close, Alpengeist would probably be my favorite if the brakes didn’t make the second half and absolute dud
I love Nemesis it's my favorite ride at Alton Towers and it's my favorite Inverted coaster. I'm surprised that Katun was that high on this list but it's really awesome ride just it doesn't have any theming around the ride like all other Europe B&M inverts have 🤣🤣
@@GegeCheezitLord just weird he said the glass smooth inferno had headbanging but nemi had no mention of it. and my dad rode it in the 90's when it first was opened and he recalls the rattle as well
I think nemesis inferno should be just below nemesis because it’s gotten more intense over the years. Inferno also last a whole 20 seconds longer and pulls up to 4.5G unlike nemesis which pulls 3.5G. The only reason nemesis is higher is because the theming is better and so is the overall experience.
Everybody, and I mean everybody, says that Batman has insane positive gs on every element. When I rode it, it felt like Talon, but with much more whip. I still prefer talon for the final helix though
rode nemesis reborn for the first time yesterday got on it 6 times and honestly think after all the incredible theming upgrades it takes the number 1 spot out of all the inverts
Nemesis Inferno is definitely not the worst invert, Monster (not the Raptor clone) looks significantly worse. In my opinion it's the best ride at Thorpe but I get that a lot of people would disagree with that. Nice video tho.
This is easily one of my favorite coaster models. I’ve done 5 and I love them all, here is how I rank them: 1. Le Vampire 9.5/10 2. Montu 9.5/10 3. Banshee 9/10 4. Raptor 8.5/10 5. Great Bear 8.5/10
i gotta say the vertical loop on black mamba is around a bridge!! so yeah it's a few spots better in my opinion but of course you are entitled to your opinion. however since i've personally ridden black mamba and oziris black mamba is better
Excellent list, but I think Nemesis is too high. Katun and Pyranees look like the two best B&M inverts, and Batman clones ARE overrated. Thanks for posting!
I don’t mind ranking inverts based on how good they look, but basing them off forces and roughness doesn’t really make sense because you don’t have a personal experience with them
Trust me, I’ve ridden both nemesis and nemesis inferno many times and they r really not that different. U put nemesis WAYYY to high even with the theming.
When the day finally comes that Montu gets retracted I hope they also update the trenches and theming into the 21st century to make it have something really special. Can’t let Osiris win that category . Also for the love for the love of god bring back the OG color scheme what was BGT thinking
The og cholor scheme NEEEDS to come back. Retrcaking of montu is questionable. Do you think sea world is willing to drop a ton of money on montu when they can spend a little more and build an entirely new coaster, idk, its hard to say.
@@RCETown I think it depends on what is done with Kumba , if Kumba gets retracked ( which I don’t think it will) then that’s not good for Montu If it does because they serve a similar purpose . Prestige wise Montu is one of the only coasters to stay in the top 50 of golden ticket awards for every ranking . BGT and SW are going to look at the bottom line and what gets more people in the park is what they would do . For Montu it’s tough I think it’s the only one that has a substantial chance to stay around . Thankfully at least from riding it yesterday it’s running amazingly well for being near 30 years old and running 365 days a year
The inverts I’ve been on 1.Banshee 🐐😍 2. Great Bear 🥰 - - - - 3. Raptor 😕 4. Batman clones 😑 - - - - - 5. Afterburn 😵😵💫🤕 Yeah I don’t like most inverts, or B&M in general for that matter, I loved Fury325, Banshee, Great Bear, Green Lantern, Leviathan, and Vortex, other than that they’re either ok or I don’t like them. The Hypers are relaxing but don’t do much for me, the Wings are good fun, Valravn was underwhelming, and I’m not even gonna get into how I feel about Orion’s layout rn but to say the least it’s sad. I hope to see some more standup coasters and inverts that are like Banshee pop up, they’re the best!
I have grown up riding nemesis, I’m from England. And I promise you Montu absolutely destroys nemesis. It hurts to say cause it was my favourite childhood coaster but Montu is MILES better
