I think someone may have mentioned it but Siegfried's SSBA is a reference to the event where you have to snap him back to his senses, and that scene plays after you save him.
Worth noting for Eustace: His VS trailer dropped in the middle of home sweet moon, just before we got his dark flb,so its debatable which is based on which!
Yeah the which comes first part is very tricky! I'm sure behind the scene they work hand-in-hand to make sure everything looks awesome and lore accurate.
As someone who never played the original Granblue, I'm surprised by how many of VS's supers were either completely original or were ported back into the original game. Really neat to see
I've been wanting one of these types of videos to show my friends who don't play the mobage but the other games. Thank you so much! :D Also obligatory "I hope we see Siegfried's SSBA in his Grand Version" copium :')))
Huh? Realm of Ice was not GBVS first, Katalina got her Story 5* about half a year prior Vaseraga 5* was also two years prior, as was his Earth version's posing, Vas Fire was the first Vas post-GBVS, the SSBA is however such a composite of moves that it is bespoke in nature I also found out recently-ish that the full ten hit into Reginleiv Azimuth combo for Djeeta initially came from the fucking Blazblue Dark War collab
Good catch on Realm of Ice! I mixed up the release dates on that one. I'll mention it in caption. Vaseraga's Skybound Art is a little tricky. For the most part, I try to match the names of the moves between the two games. Vas Skybound Art is called Aftermath, which was on an outfit "Dawn's Ebony Scythe". It came out after his GBVS teaser, but before the GBVS release date. So I decided to say it's based off GBVS. It would've been more accurate to only highlight the outfit, but I wanted to include the very obvious Earth Vaseraga uncap art reference :) Interesting on the Reginclav Azimuth combo! I never knew. Gotta check it out.
@@granblueshowcase That makes sense, I am not exactly a Vaseraga CA Name Knower aside from BLOODY MOON because god that move is so cool Still a very good video I appreciate stuff like this!
I you count the very 1st gbvs beta in early 2019 realm of ice is debut in gbvs That beta is so funny coz back then ares didnt get introduce in the mobage yet so the entire fandom are losing thier mind over why katalina suddenly have a stand 😂
@@granblueshowcase Most of his moveset can be seen in the raid from the base game, these being: karma, black flies, langelaan field, chaoscaliber, unisonic, just execution and even his normal attack.
Huh. I never actually watched the dual unit for Yuel and Socie (Yuen) is the dance animation they went with instead of Rindou/Gentiana because I'd firgotten the latter summon was just a closeup of their character art voiced into regular attack animations haha
Yeah, the original name of the dance is from a summon but they don't look alike. You'd think they'd name the new dual unit's dance as Gentiana, but nope haha.
Damn. Avatar Belial's SSBA isn't referring to Belial but Gran/Djeeta's Belial Skin Charge Attack. Wished we could see it in Belial instead in the OG game.
If only you waited until yesterday for the new paradise lost animation 😆 from the super faa Or I guess put all iterations of paradise losts from lucifer summon, lucio, lucio summer, sandalphon light, triple zero, all three faa Anything else I miss? Maybe it deserves its own video 😂
Vira's SSBA reference is more of a tricky situation. You're technically wrong with the reference because the mobile version of Illad vision is actually adapted into her SSBA where you don't get the full animation! Try using her Lumineria Merge SSBA from max range and see! It's has the same 5 hit amount and finisher!
Thanks for pointing it out! Yes it's actually tricky to say for every character, cause some references are clearly taken from little bits of other moves..
@@granblueshowcaseDouble checking , yeah seems Beelz debuted fully in GBFVS, including his theme, whereas his appearances prior are that of the "Hood Figure."
