Have ypu tried their newer box that has dual wifi ability? Apparently you no longer need a SIM and can use your phones hitspot to supply internet to the box since it has dual wifi channels.

Got one and ended up returning it. The big issue is the MMB's functions stay on top. So if you use the iDrive wheel, the MMB menu dominates instead of scrolling through the app you are using, like Spotify. The layouts are limited. You can't have a default split screen (2 windows). If you just want to watch stuff, maybe this is for you but not for me.

The display lag is quite obvious and a bummer. It is likely the supplier is using a lower-end hardware specifications.

There is because of the wireless latency

Yes, as long as you have your CarPlay activation set up

It arrived, instalation realy easy. Just two things.. the gps is ont working although i let the gps positioning and the speedometar is not working....and by me its just the half screen is not like by you the whole screen showing...if you have some tips i would be happy to hear from you.thanks

@@almirmekik3431 This is bcos your U need to configure the iDrive display on your ride to Fullscreen. U cannot change this on your own, U need to code it and I believe your authorised dealer will charge U for that.😅

@@almirmekik3431half CarPlay screen is because you have an older BMW I-level version. Only the dealer can update it, which will give you full screen CarPlay therefore full screen MMB interface.
