Currently, I'm wearing the Superblast 1 for nurse drip. The upper is comfortable and the midsole is consistent for multiple days of 12 hours on feet. Also, they didn't work for me as running shoes. The shoes that didn't work for me: Nimbus 25: too soft, left my feet tired. More v4: foam flattens out. The More v3 was a great work shoe; really comfortable upper and stable. The 860 may be similar but I haven't tried it. Rebel v3 was OK but the rounded bottom is a little unstable. Deviate Nitro 2 is comfortable for walking around on vacation but I feel the plate after 12 hours at work. I've also used the Torin 5 for work and it's pretty good. The Adizero SL2 is really comfortable for everything but I'm mostly using it for running because I need it to last until I get the EVO SL early next year 🙂.
I am honored to be part of this community of Runninologists. Knowing that a fellow member of this group passed on to me a pair of the ON Cloud Eclipse of which I am using as a casual util the doc let's me know when I can hit the pavement( minor plantar fasciitis in left heel ). Happy Running Everyone 🏃♂️ 😀
Some yesteryear runners that I enjoy for walking/casual are Brooks Hyperion Elite 3, Mizuno Wave Sky 7, Skechers GoRun Ride 11, Saucony Triumph 20, Puma Deviate Nitro 2, New Balance Rebel V3, and New Balance SC Pacer V1. A non-runner that's also great for walking is the Marquis edition of the Converse Chuck Taylor 70, with the CX foam insole. For dedicated walkers, my top picks would be Reebok's DMX series, e.g., the Comfort+ and the DMX MAX... the back & forth air transfer is like nothing else that I've tried.
Love this! Thanks to your recommendations I have purchased the Saucony Hurricane, the Ghost Max and Ghost Max 2 for walking. I have horrible feet and switching between these three keeps my feet happy. I go back and forth between the Ghost Max and Ghost Max 2, prefer the Ghost Max 2 because they fit my narrow heel better. But the Hurricane is sooo comfortable! Loved the step in feel of the Topo Phantom but those soles are HARD! I've wanted to try the Atmos but I think I've got enough shoes to keep me busy:)
I randomly tried on the Altra FWD Experience at Dick's and loved it - similar to the FWD via I think, but a bit lighter and just very comfortable. Def another good one for walking around and being on your feet. Thanks for the other suggestions!
Just decided to pick up another pair of 1080 V13. I never normally re buy an older model as like to try out new shoes, but the 1080 V13 is just incredible as a Easy run shoe and from the reviews I've seen the V14 still looks like a great shoe but maybe not as good for what I use it for.
In my opinion the most people that are commenting here on your channel to your videos are running sickos 😉😁 in a good way and so am I 👍 Right now I‘m watching the live stream of the Golden Trail World Series of the final in Ascona Locarno 🙏😍 Amazing to see where they‘re running and how steep and rocky the course is there 😃 What amazing athletes 🔥 I‘m cheering for Remi Bonnet and Judith Wyder 🙏😍
Most of the time I use non race shoes..all my daily drivers are the shoes that fail the running use tryouts..some are cheap 50%-75% off clearance models and some are tier 2 racing shoes that turn out to not be real racing shoes..after a few years of abuse in the garden and farm some end life as toys for the dogs..once a year I donate the the better stuff to habitat for humanity or dump them in the donate barrel at the running store and the best of them I send to the Philippines for the in-laws to give to kids..I usually have 30+ prs on hand and I rotate thru them to keep them aired out and breathe..can't remember the last time I actually thru a pr of shoes into the trash..I sometimes see a pr that look like someone went out in the yard to take it away from the dogs so they can race in them..😅
