Of course I missed a skin: Blue Team Leader, now this was the first PS+ skin added to Fortnite, and we would see many more of these come in the future. Despite the name, it is NOT a Cuddle Team Leader skin, it's more of just a blue Recon Specialist clone, and it's insanely clean. The white and blue attire looks amazing, and it's still one of the most popular skins ran in Fortnite, and it's not difficult to see why. On PC, you'll rarely find this skin in action, but on PS4, you'll most likely see at least 1 every game due to how popular it is in the community!
PIZO skin review: gameplay, cranking 90s, what back blings to wear with the skin, what skins to wear with the back bling. ITF skin review: here's a PNG.
Well it's been in the shop alot but then again since all we get are 30 day rotations a tiktok dance every day it doesn't come back that often like it used to
He said they wouldn't do that due to the fact that those who didn't unlock royale knight would be missing out on a shield and that they'd get complaints. But honestly they could just get rid of Royale Knights shield and give all Blue Squire owners an extra shield
@@matthewgriffin1782 So what your saying is if a fail to get a skin in a battlepasss due to not playing enough to unlock it then I should feel entitled to get something? (Example) ragnarok got an edit style a few seasons later let's say I didn't get tier 100 that season not knowing he got one so since he got one and I don't own that skin they should give me free stuff, see how that doesn't make sense.
@@lawnmower2366 that's different, because the royale shields look identical and are different items. Ragnarok's edit style was not taking up space in the locker and he only got the style because of ads complaints
It’s the Asian default skin in the knight outfit it’s hard to notice but I once noticed it when my friend looked in my skin in season 2 and he said it was a Asian default in it
14:58 Red-Nosed Raider initially released with the pants texture she has now. It wasn’t until someone on Reddit pointed that the glossy texture on the pants, that has been there for almost two years, was not like that when people first purchased it. It was a bug and they changed it to how it was before. You can even see on her featured pose that they do not look glossy, and looks the way it looks in-game now.
As you said that they should Chance the backbling for the knights, instead of changing blue squire change royal night so everyone who made it to royal night will already have blue squire so just change the royal night backbling
@Fritzy no hes not lmao, his region makes him look good cause of how bad na west is, dont get me wrong he is a very good player but I dont think he's the best controller player
Video idea: What happened to twitch prime packs. And would edit styles work for emotes? Example: Jabba Switchway and Go Mufasa have the music but different music. Cap kick you could have him miss, hit, or randomize
Alpine Ace and Mogul Master should come as an all in one, you buy all edit styles for 2.000 V Bucks or even more and if you had 2 or more they must refund the difference in V Bucks and in the case of you only having one give you the option to pay 1.000 V Bucks to get the rest of the edit styles. The community will love this idea.
The reason most season 2 skins are labeled as season 1 is because they came out before v2.00, which was the map update which brought us tilted towers, shifty shafts, etc. every cosmetic before the map update is labeled season 1, meaning every skin released with the season 2 label released between January 21st, and February 22nd (season 3's launch) 2018.
3:34 just change the Royal Knights shield since everyone with Royal Knight also has the Blue Squire skin and the Blue Squire shield (Since Royal Knight is a higher tier in the battlepass than Blue Squire.)
Yeah it’s been awhile especially as a season 1 player myself the nostalgia hits hard now that it has ever before and Fortnite does not feel the same but that doesn’t stop me from playing :)
i think it's cool how they would do sets like the fusion set where the pickaxe and glider were in the BP but the skins were in the item shop, it was kinda cool they also did this with balloon axe and the clown skins! and it makes it so that later they have more options to have other pickaxes or gliders to put in with the set
I really think the reason they put ELF in a bundle is the exact opposite of why you think. My theory is they thought putting a rare skin in a real money bundle would make them a great profit because if people wanted that hyped up and rare skin they had to spend real money on the bundle. While you say he’s in the bundle because they thought he wouldn’t sell, I say he’s in the bundle because they thought he would
I love how Nick says that the shadow ops skin comes out all the time. I agree that it used to be a 30 day skin, but it hasn’t been out in over 294 DAYS
I don’t think Black Knight is overrated, I always run that skin because he looks terrifying even in the lobby. And yes, the Red Shield is a Black Shield but flipped, if you pay attention to the Black Shield the dragon’s head is pointing the right way meanwhile the Red Shield dragon head goes the other direction (I do run Black Knight with the Red Shield, weird flex, maybe, but I love how it looks)
They should change the Royale shield because if someone has royale knight they will obviously have blue squire Edit: oh did you edit it to look like mine? No worries 👍
@@itsroman6373 no it’s not a bot if you were smart you would realize his comment was a reference to back in the day of people saying that when fortnite was fun for them honestly you need to think sometimes
I think the actual reason they put Code Name Elf in the bundle is because they absolutely knew how rare the skin was, how Lachlan was using it for his own character and persona And how rare it was, so why not put a rare popular skin in a bundle with mediocre skins I kid you not, the bundle would of sold like 10x less without Code name Elf
To solve the shield problem they should change the royale knights shield because if people got to royale knight in the battle pass they have the option to wear the squire shield if they like it better
Shadow Ops used to come out every month but it was last out 269 days ago. It’s one of my most wanted outfits from the item shop and it’s a very clean outfit!
27:19 that’s so true its literally the reason I stopped wearing the love ranger wings I wish U could make it just to be normal and not moving like it looks so bad when u use it and they wonder no one buys their skin with wings
3:33 That's why if they're gonna change one of them they should change the Royal Shield Then that eliminates that problem If people with both or just the Blue Squire don't like the change then they still have the Squire Shield If people with only the Blue Squire like it well too bad you didn't unlock the Royal Knight
I really want to get the blue squire i was tier 19 back in season 2 so i hope that there will ever be a way to buy missed rewards like for example i was tier 19 so i could buy the pass now and get all the rewards from tier 1 to tier 19 (And yes fortnite still knows what tier you were in older seasons)
I think if they were ever going to do a lazarbeam locker loadout bundle, they should’ve done it over Christmas so that people wouldn’t wine if Merry marauder came out not in December
13:48 I think that they believed on it being one of the most popular skins so for them to make the most out of it they sold it in a pack because they KNOW people will buy it
if they only changed royal knight's shield it wouldnt hurt anyone, everyone who has the original shield would still have it from the male knight, but hers would be something new
I agree with all your thoughts on the skins, except Codename E.L.F. I am 99% sure they put him in the pack to sell the other skins, since most people don't particularly enjoy any of them
I think codename elf was put in a bundle because they knew if they brought back a rare skin it would sell a lot so they got extra money by tie-ing him to a bundle
Little interesting fact about the majority of these skins: The ones that happen to use a default model (For example, Mogul Master using Jonesy's model) are just the default models with different textures. So no, none of these skins are unique since just changing the textures of a cosmetic and adding a hat, helmet, mask, etc doesn't make it necessarily unique. *However,* this does NOT make the skins bad. Back then they were probably some of the best things we had for cosmetics, but compared to the actual unique skins we have they're really just STW models with some minor differences.
To clarify I'm mainly talking about the clothes for each of these skins. They all use the exact same *model* as the default skins of the time (just look at a few compared to a Chapter 1 default) but have different *textures* compared to the defaults
@@traysonwhitworth3006 Dude they're literally just reskins of each other. Copying and pasting a model and then changing it's texture is the easiest (and laziest) thing you can do in 3D modeling. But at the time it made sense, because almost all of the C1S1 skins was based off a hero from STW. In STW, each hero has it's own rarity but you can freely change it from whatever rarity style you want... So they literally solved this problem in the game mode nobody cares about
2:40 imo they just got change royale knights, as if they liked the other one they could wear it because they would already own blue squire’s shield. Or just give the first one an edit style but I doubt they’d do thst
I remember my only outfits of this season were all of the battlepass ones and the PlayStation plus until I bought circuit breaker a little later on lol
? what about other countries? why would they give him another edit style. just because his backbling was reskinned doesnt mean he should be reskinned into an edit style. thats like saying "since red knight got a frozen reskin redknight should also get a frozen edit style!" it makes no sense. edit-styles make fortnite lose money, and you should be grateful you get any.
Off topic: I noticed you’re wearing empress honestly empress needs to really come back it’s such a unique pet I understand that it was overpriced but they could just easily change the price of it it’s not right that it only came out once it’s ridiculous.
You said fortnite thought Codename E.L.F wouldn't sell by itself so they put him on the bundle but I think they thought the pack wouldn't sell instead, and also they could also make some profit out of it. Because why pay for another Nog Ops and Fishstick, and a bulky skin you'd use once? They 100% put him on Polar Legends to sell the pack more and sell it for more money
