I'm gonna have to disagree with Samus' Homing Missile and say that Samus' worst move would be her two hit jab as not only isn't the jab not very strong, it can't even combo into the 2nd part of the jab making it very punishable meaning that only the 1st part of jab, that deals a measly 3.6% damage, is going to be even at all useful but even then, using literally any other move is going to be much better than Samus' jab. At least you can pressure with the Homing Missile.

I'd disagree. Jab at least is a good mix up option into grab if you only jab 1, while I've never seen homing missile actually do jack squat in my year of playing elite smash except slightly annoy me.

As a Yoshi main, I was able to find ONE use for Egg Roll, and it’s only specifically against King Dedede and only when he’s specifically using Gordo Throw. When you use Egg Roll you can charge through the Gordo, hitting it back and hitting King Dedede as well. That’s literally it

Except literally any decent move can do the same thing. I have a clip that is made up of Dedede firing of a Gordo in a 8 player Smash, where it proceeds to be reflected by Dark Samus Forward Air, Pichu Get Up Attack, of all things, and potentially Ridley Up Smash, which both hit Dedede, and increaced the intensity of the upwards momentum of the Gordo, I don’t know, the entire exchange was about 2 seconds long, and the Ridley/Gordo/Dedede exchange was less than 10 frames.

Frost Glader I think you missed my point here. I’m aware literally any move can reflect a Gordo. Egg Roll is special that it can both hit the Gordo back, and Dedede with the Egg Roll itself. All that aside Egg Roll is still a bad move

This sounds so much like my little sister (she plays Bayonetta), honestly it isn’t a bad strategy, I used to main Yoshi and would only spam random buttons, using this strategy I lost all my friends as I destroyed them with egg roll and ground pound, (they are sweaty with Kirby, game and watch and Captain Falcon)

7.0.0 just made several things on this list down right wrong: - Zelda's f-tilt is now so strong that the risk for throwing it out is much more worth is in a lot of situations. Her new worst move is probably f-smash? IDK what it would be but it's not f-tilt. - Remember when Doc's down-tilt was his worst move? Now it's one of his best. Leads into combos and kill confirms into a lot of his moves. His new worst move is definitely up-tilt. - Same thing with Young Link as with Doc. One of his worst moves is now one of his best.

Zelda's worst move is probably up Smash. It can never hit grounded characters unless they are huge and it isn't even that strong. Also people can kind of fall out of it.

As a Kirby main myself, I can tell you that his down air is a really best move. It’s consistent, and useful when you’re in the air. Hammer is pretty useless, too slow, and has to be charged to do a lot of damage, even against a weak character. You’re better off using side air.

Yep! ,as a Kirby main hammer even tho it applies pressure against less experienced players it can easily be countered and theres probably always a better option Dair is just really good against characters like Duck Hunt and (maybe haven't tried) villager and combos into.almost every one of kirbys moves so theres no reason to say its kirbys worst

I main kirby and I think that either rock or hammer is his worst as hammer is easily countered by any hit and it damages you over time and rock can be countered with a grab. They both are deadly against weaker players though.

I know this has already been brought up, but man, I just can't agree with Samus's Homing Missile being worse than Jab 2. Jab 2 has such bad frame data that most characters can literally get hit by Jab 1 and then spot-dodge, shield, or even *hit you back* before Jab 2 connects. The best thing you can do probably 95% of the time after Jab 1 is to run away and throw out something to mix your opponent up. Hell, AFAIK, it's the only move in Smash that's so bad *the in-game tips tell you not to use it*. While homing missile isn't great, you can use it to close off some approaches, in some tech situations, to condition jumps, etc., in situations where committing charged shot to it is prohibitive. It doesn't connect often, but conditioning the reaction to Missile and closing off options with a low-commitment move is still really useful in a lot of situations.

smurftaz1 hold up a second, jab 1 is not actually her worst move Sounds crazy, but let me explain. Everyone already knows that jab 1 infamously doesn’t connect into jab 2, but it actually has its uses. You can dash in the opposite direction and pivot fsmash or grab, depending on what the opponent does after being hit by jab 1. Obviously it’s not ideal, but better than homing missiles, which is a complete joke

rancorousGamer absolutely, I’ve seen some niche uses of homing missiles here and there, but it’s rare to ever see jab 2 in a high level tournament, pretty much serves only as a mix up

4:25 There’s no way that Kirby down air is considered worse than hammer or rock, hammer in particular. the only thing I can think of for hammer is using it in the air on some1s shield for good shield damage (can’t even break full shield), but it’s probably the most predictable and worst setup of any shield break, and its the only actual use I could find. Zero chance d-air is the worst kirby move

I dont know how Samus' worst wasnt her jab. It's a two-hit jab where the first hit doesnt even combo into the second hit (or anything else), and it only does 3.6% damage. The homing missiles can at least add some ranged pressure in some situations

12:07 I don't know if the recent patches changed Docs worst move, but from my experiences, Down Tilt is Docs best tilt. It's a good combo set up as it can lead into itself once or twice then a grab. For me, one down tilt can lead into 40 to 50%.

It’s D-air for Corrin. On stage, it deals decent damage and it’s range is an alright combo breaker, but off stage, it’s nearly unsurvivable, and it’s useless when it comes to your actual opponent.

It’s only effective as a powerful shield break punish, but it’s held back by it’s extremely mediocre frame data Down B is effective at escaping juggles, but if it gets read, you’ll be left open to grabs and exiting the Stone leaves a gap for Kirby to be punished. Strong but risky

Kirby's dair is hands down the worst spike in the game. It fails to kills at 90% against the LIGHTEST CHARACTERS IN THE GAME, whereas literally every other spike cleanly kills at 50% or lower. It's slower than ganons dair, and has now where near as much knockback, this move sucks ass.

I HEAVILY disagree with the samus’ homing missile being their worst move. I’m even tempted to say that if you’re basing the move on it’s knock back, even partially, you’re using or thinking if the move’s uses entirely wrong. That low knock back is precisely WHY I believe it is a good move, it reliably sets up into several combos, be it a fair , zair, tether grab, or charge shot, and some times even dash attack if you’re close enough. Sure the move doesn’t track the best, but even then, the fact it tracks at all makes it PHENOMENAL for pressure and zoning, especially when mixing in the other missile, charge shot, and zairs. Her worst move would most definitely be her jab combo. While first hit jab is a surprisingly decent “get off me” attack/panic option, the second hit will almost never connect. And while it is true second hit jab has other uses (such as 2 framing and hitting people hanging on ledge) in many circumstances other tools in her kit (full charge shot, d-tilt, d-smash will be a more reliable option anyways.) second hit jab, in my opinion, adds nothing to their kits outside of offering a little mix up here and there. Homing missile is exponentially better than second hit jab, and this isn’t even touching on the mix up potential being able to switch between the two missiles offers. Not to mention homing missile can offer amazing shield pressure when followed up by a tether grab, or weak charge shot

6.3m GSP, huge disagreement. Samus's jab is a very good conditioning tool, and it's fast enough to be a safe move to just throw out and maintain pressure. Jab1 can combo into Jab2 if you D-special->Jab, as the bomb will explode to create hitstun after jab1. D-special also makes it safe if they shield jab1, and leads into a grab, charge shot(shield break after jab1+bomb), or a shorthop d-air mixup whether they shield the bomb or not. D-special protects you from their out of shield options as well, as many characters like to use tether grabs or jabs out of shield against samus's jab1. As the bomb explodes, you're given an opportunity for an easy grab, shorthop n-air or dragdown up-air. It's like a pseudo neutral reset in close quarter fights where Samus tends to struggle. Don't get me wrong, homing missile does great things, but I find that characters in smash ultimate are much better at getting past walls of projectiles, partially due to the directional air dodge

Bowser's worst move is definitely dash attack let's be honest. What no one seems to realize is that a down angled forward tilt wont reach down far enough on stages with angled edges like lylatt and down tilt will which makes it useful on those stages. Dash attack is just a bad turnaround canceled forward tilt.

the ONLY use i've found for samus/dark samus's homing missiles is to charge the neutral special, release them as super missiles with the tilt option, and release the neutral special, since the missile has startup lag where it just floats there, they hit in the same move, just giving the move more power

Doc's down tilt can combo in up-throw into two up-airs or up air and back air. Granted, it's not true, but usually works. It only works at low percants though, like 10-18%
