@@TechnicalJimActualAlso, only non-humans survived, maybe Twi'leks, Ortolans and whatever Sy and Droopy are have stronger bodies. Gamorreans definitely have.
Sy Snootles' story in From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi explicitly states she didn't go on the Khetanna. She stayed behind in the palace while everyone left, and later fled when she heard of his death
Yeah, I was about to post the same thing. That's the last one I just read, last night. There are publicity photos of her on the Barge, and she was on it in Legends...but if we're talking new canon and Certain Point of View... Also, we don't know for sure that Salacious died in the Sarlaac. It kinda alluded to that, but left it open to interpretation. He was thrown into the Sarlaac pit, but not it's mouth...he was still trying to climb out when the story ends.
I want it to be a running gag that Max Rebo keeps showing up, and every time he does the place he's at explodes. Then he shows up in another story later, completely unharmed with zero explanation, just in time for the next explosion.
He's died on the barge going off of Wookieepedia. Either they'll retcon it or the Mando post credits scene guy is just a look-alike like all of the Greedos we see running around after his death.
Soon we'll find out that practically nobody died in either of those events. We'll also learn that 450,000 Imperials evacuated Death Star 2 before it blew up.
@@weisenbergphotoYeah it’s always annoying when people complain about order 66 survivors because if even 100 survived order 66 still had a 99% success rate. We can start complaining when we see a small army of 100 more Jedi survivors come out of the blue.
I also noticed a lore change for the sarlacc. In canon material, the whole "thousand years of digestion" thing seems to be a tall tale. Everyone seems to be knocked unconscious the minute they fall in and the gas suffocated Boba right away.
Max Rebo is my favourite character and I can’t lie though we got more lore about him in the last month than we have in 40 years I was a little disappointed with the recent stories. I love the certain point of view tale of him chasing the organ, I’d love to see that animated as a short it was so cartoony and fun I loved it! But the parts about his escape was kinda lame to me, the fact he flew through the air kinda seemed unnecessary. The comic issue I just found a little bleak and wished for something more wacky and fun, he’s a silly two armed elephant man, wish his story wasn’t about his fears of death and more something fun, like that Visions short with the band!
its an other case of Legends vs canon tales from Jabba's palace and From a Certain Point of View seem to be the same idea with different stories. I would love to hear in a video some day or a comment if you can't 1. how does Legends vs canon differ both for better and worse? 2. How are Legends and Canon the same? What was adapted or carried over? 3. Who are some of these other background characters? Do they have stories? if so are there stories legend or canon? if not, why not? what do we know about them? 4. What characters have had the most drastic changes between legends and canon? 5. what characters were confirmed defiantly dead?
I really only have one problem with this book. I know a lot of people have problems with Star wars in general, complaining about this that the third, but I have one big complaint about this book. How dare they try to rename jizz music to jatz. Of all the things they could change, they had to try and retcon that. Well screw them
The most shocking thing is, Han was STILL able to hit Boba’s jetpack with the staff even if he was blind. I guess it was just pure luck that that happened.
Actually, the same book has Sy stay at Jabba's Palace when the barge departs. She is very unhappy with her lot in life and when her droid reports the Barge exploded, she starts plotting what she'll do next for her career.
Did Bossk survive? He was there. Also, Ree Yees is walking around behind Big Boy Bib Fortuna in the credits scene from Mando S2, unless it's a different Gran wearing a similar outfit.
It would be the story of Salacious trying to make his way around Tatooine with a disorder that made him laugh at inappropriate times. It would basically be "Joker," But with a Monkey-Lizard.
I do not think it is appropriate to make light of this tragedy. As you giddily speak of the survivors, it seems you have forgotten all those who never made it off alive. Be better.
Oh I forgot Dengar was on there. Of all creatures onboard, it makes the most sense for Bossk to survive, we’ve already seen all his limbs blown off like multiple times already. Trandoshans are very strong.
@@SonofCradossk9853Hopefully he also got off Kijimi in time. My head canon is he took a stroll out of the bar for a couple minutes, he saw and recognized the helmet of Vader, and then got excited and took it and flew off with it to show it to some bounty hunter friends only a minute before Kijimi got blasted.
A regular yacht would have life jackets. You're not going to drown in the sand, but a jet pack would sure help you cross some ground to get help. Why wouldn't they have little jet packs like Sabine's littered throughout the barge?
How many of the "From a Certain Point of View"-stories are actually official canon tough? I heard a lot, that the canonocity is a bit questionable in some of them.
Most of all the stories have been canon in the FACPOV books, aside from some of the ones that kinda explicitly try to be different and not fit into canon in some big ways.
I love your videos, and I love your content and you put so much hard work into this stuff and you were the reason why I still like Star Wars, but I feel like the franchise is just being squeezed so hard with this lust, and need for knowing every single detail of every single thing. And I know that you love that, But you can imagine that one day there will be a comic where, after Han Solo was stabbed and falling that Obi-Wan came to him and taught him how to be a Jedi and he became a force ghost, and in some movie you’ll see force ghost, Han, and force ghost Leigh together as a happy family, you know what I mean. This is the huge problem with Star Wars. They can’t create captivating new characters. They just have to keep believing their old characters. The only exceptions of late are Indoor and the Mandalorian. But the Mandalorian is getting tired even the new Asoka show. It finally started getting good. Five episodes in, so long story long. I love your stuff but I’m getting really tired of Star Wars and this endless need to fill in every single detail, but keep up the good work like I said, I love your channel and you too are great!
Fans nowadays seem to miss that it was a literal joke (and a pretty good one) to have the galaxy's most feared bounty hunter go out in the most embarrassing way possible. Lucas just underestimated just how popular Boba Fett would become.
