Yeap, that would have been the greatest night of TV not the slap itself. Gervais making fun of the open relationship, how Will wishes to be 2pac so Jada would truly love him, etc lol
He almost did. Right after he says "I could...." and the stops himself from finishing the sentence. What he was going to say was I could roast the ever living fuck out of you but I won't
Yes, a man who is 98% weed has a solid grasp on reality. Anyway, if you actually watched the show, rather than the clips, then it isn’t so binary. Rock made his bald joke, everyone laughed - with some doing that laugh one does when they think something is inappropriate, but laugh anyway. Smith slapped and everyone went quiet; when Smith ranted, they got even more silent. Through the awkwardness, the presenters tried to move forward - the show must go on. When Smith won, everyone was in precarious situation. Everyone cringed. I think people have mistaken caution for callousness. The audience are Switzerland: they make the wrong move, they get fucked by the Allies or fucked by the Axis. So, they took the only choice they had, which was to pretend everything was still normal. Perhaps it was cowardice, yet it’s not like that applause was any more real than the fake world Rogan judged them to live in. They were caught between a Rock and a slapped face. The only one who showed his cards was Denzel, as he was so clearly disappointed in Smith and his fumbling excuses to justify his tantrum.
Let's get one thing straight: Jada doesn't have "full blown" alopecia, she has a string just over her forehead where she loses hair. People with alopecia can not shave their head because they have no hair whatsoever to shave, even the hair roots are gone, eyebrows as well. If Jada let her hair grow out she could easily fix a hairdo which covered the small bald string in the front. If she gets a total alopecia her head will be completely bald to the skin, it would be smooth like a bowling ball. *Huge difference.*
She's a textbook vulnerable narcissist. Watch her table talks, she actually likes her short hair and looks better that way. Abusive, manipulative, controlling, but always playing the victim. Poor Will honestly.
@@z17seattle she’s been rockin that crew cut for years…the whole thing was staged you cannot trust anything these people do…how can anyone believe a man that lets his wife get banged in his house by other men respects his wife…meanwhile your government that stole a presidential election is giving it to you with no Vaseline but let’s talk about some made up award show
"YOU THINK WHEN IM AT THE OSCARS I'M LOOKING AT THE AUDIENCE FOR THE MEDIA??!! NO I'M LOOKING FOR WILL SMITH!!" LMFAO!! 🤣😂😆 OMG I'm dying here!! My stomach hurts!! That whole bit.....I have not laughed that hard in years! That was classic.
Best joke I've heard so far:"Even Putin gave a warning." I'm sure there's more to come. Wrath of the comedians, not the people you want to pick a fight with.Especially if you have a thin skin.
Man I'm waiting. The whole comedy universe is on 🔥 And they are just starting. The best part is not only are the Black ones, but everyone who is funny. ❤
@@drServitis New South Park episodes might be waaaay off. By the time they do a new episode this will be old news, and they might not even bother with it.
The dude impersonating Chris was a riot! TMZ says the Academy never asked him to leave. They were all on Smith’s side giving him support. Chris got none.
I think Smith kinda messed up attacking a legend of the comedy world. Now all the funniest people in the world have closed ranks around him and Will Smith will be the butt of their jokes for years.
When Will said “keep my wife’s name out of your f…ing mouth!” It would’ve been hilarious if Chris would’ve asked through the speaker system “would August’s girlfriend be an ecceptable alternative?”
Or just to respond with "Glad I didn't go with my first joke" stating the obvious that there are MANY worse jokes to be made. She likes her short hair and looks better that way FFS. She's a textbook "vulnerable narcissist" who controls manipulates and abuses poor Will, while playing the victim.
People were going ‘What would have happened if Ricky Gervais had been doing it [hosting the Oscars]?’ Well, nothing as I would not have made a joke about his wife’s hair. I would have made a joke about her boyfriend." Gotta love Ricky. 😄😄😄
12:18 Props to this crew right here. They knew this Chris Rock routine backwards and forwards. And that the ultimate compliment from one professional comic to another.
The only thing great about it was Chris Rock's sublime self control and restraint in what was a very difficult situation. Props to him but Wil Smith was so fucking pathetic it beggars belief. What a huge fuck-up it was for him. He knew he'd get away with it and thought he was special, but only succeeded in making himself look stupid and weak as shit. I'd have loved to see him try it with someone bigger and stronger and younger. He'd have been sat on his rich arse like he deserved.
Theyre saying that the tickets for his next show jumped from $50 to now being $400.. So it might have worked out in Chris Rocks favor a little bit. Im sure people are more eager to see his next show now to see what he says lol
@@susiestone5644 Nope. There's so much wrong with that generalisation you just made. Men punching men, slapping men, stabbing men or whatever it is, is violence no better than any kind of violence done by a human on another human. Period. He was acting out this exact kind of BS when he went up on stage with the perceived expeectation that as a man an d husband he was expected to defend his wife's honour through physical violence, when in reality the situation in no way called for that kind of response. He had no idea what he was doing and then he kind of did a compromise with that very intense slap. which was no more acceptable than a punch. He then benefited from the privilege he enjoys as a man, and a famous celebrity, where a differemt person would have been immediately restrained, ejected and arrested. He's also lucky it was Chris Rock, who showed so much maturity and restraint where someone different would have a: not faced that situation because Smith would have been too scared or b: would have defended themselves and laid him out flat. There is NO way that the Academy would have allowed that stunt to take place in the current political and social climate. Maybe somewhere else but not there. It's absurd. And downplaying it as fake or as not the violent act it was is to be complicit in the continuation of the toxic culture that enables it in the first place. And just to be clear. Violent people punch men, women and children every day. Women also commit horrendous acts of violence and so do some children. You have an unfortunate idea of a man. Real men do NOT punch other people unless they are forced to defend their own or another's safety. Period. What you perceived as being inauthentic was the result of a real human in a real situation and as such it wasn't what you'd see in a movie or how men would try and say they would have done it if it was them, in order to live up to a toxic expectation of what a man is. It was a microcosm of one of the biggest problems with our society and it's already being romanticised and distorted. Sickening.
@@z17seattle OK, let's say that's true and that his marriage is unhealthy. That's unfortunate. But by no means does it excuse him being violent to her or anyone else. The adult thing to do is to deal with that problem in a mature way, with professional help if needed. You don't get a free pass to commit acts of violence because your life isn't perfect. He's also ridiculously wealthy with resources and a life most people dream of, so to behave like that is disgusting. Blaming his wife for him being violent is absurd. He's a big boy and he can choose to end his relationship if it's causing him distress. None of it is relevant to the events of the Oscars.
10:38 yes. Will took it out on someone who he knew he could. Put Dwayne Johnson up there and I bet you Will won't do a thing but smile awkwardly. 15:55 Tom Segura's tweet is on point.
The victim should never be put in the position to be responsible to decide what happens next, immediately after an assault and battery. The fact that the academy and/or academy affiliates are using Chris's statements (directly after the assault) as rationale for not ejecting Will Smith is absolutely despicable. Chris was slapped once by Will and now he's being slapped again by the academy for using Chris's statements as rationale for not taking action. As if the victim directly after an assault now needs to be burdened with exactly what must happen in the immediate aftermath. It's disgusting. When someone is assaulted, it's time for the people around the victim to step up and take control of the situation. Way to go academy.
Smith's shouting out " keep my wife's name out yo mouth " was a Freudian slip for sure . Will is subconsciously referring to the men she's had in her mouth . It all came out but disguised
So proud of C Rock. ... Dude did his thing in the moment of chaos. He was brilliant. And a HUGE chin as well. Kid took a big shot and shrugged it off. Will... you're not that big boy.
I thought the "Keep Carlos' name out of your mouth" was the best, right up until they redid the Rock replacing n^^^^^ with Wil Smith. That was sublime, and if he actually came up with that spur of the moment... wow.
@@sergiomedina7960 yeah, I saw that too. Tom was slayin' The Boy's. Pat's laughing and trying to ask questions, meanwhile, Tony and Connor are losing their shit in the back. Funny stuff. Tom Segura is a man whose radar you don't wanna be on. He will come for your soul 🤣
There is one question I would want to ask Will Smith and his wife. How did you think this was gonna end well? The ramifications of the slap were a 1000 fold, to whatever the situation was before or would have been if they just laughed at his joke.
She's a textbook vulnerable narcissist who abuses, controls and manipulates will, while playing the victim. Feel bad for Will, actually. Dude is an emotional wreck.
Heads to far up their own ass to see the consequences. Chris responding how he did, and not pressing charges, is a Jedi move. He can now roast the fuck out of them when he's ready, and they'll have no choice but to take it. It'll be glorious.
Will Smith's updated Fresh Prince rap: "The Oscar Academy told me I was up to no good, so I started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little slap and my mom got scared , she said 'you can't slap Chris cuz your wife got no hair'" LOL
My heart broke for Chris. I just wanted to hug him when he stood there. But he composed himself quickly and went on with the show. I really believed it was staged until Will dropped the F bomb twice. The GI Jane joke is a huge compliment to Jada. Demi Moore was in her 30s when the movie was made. She was hott.
This was way funnier then I thought. Cuz I was already so tired of this topic even tho I´ve tried to avoid it, it´s everywhere! But this with the Lab made my cheekbones hurt😉😂🤣 🤍
The jokes and ridicule and negative attention Will is bringing on Jada in addition to himself is exactly the opposite he wanted to achieve. Karma for such an unprofessional, unreasonable punk ads move.
@@dreichert1438 I dont, just pointing out he was a big enough idiot to do what he did, was all smug about it afterward, he actually had to be told it was a bad move, and now he sees the fall out has brought mega attention to how they both are. Actually he had a good reputation, although a beta male where she is concerned, but now people see this pathetic side to him. They both deserve it and each other.
More like the slap that ruined his career...but really, I think he just might have slapped comedy back into shape really, because they've all gone back to being absolutely brutal...so awesome to see...Lol!
I don't often hit pause on vids, it's usually a giggle or tame laugh but don't need to stop the vid. This is the first time I've ever had to hit the pause after that guy slapped the host and said " keep Carlos' name out your effin mouth" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
lol theo made me do a double take. "you saw chris rock at the after party?" "yeah spade took me to...." i thought he was talking about chris rock for a second lmao.
How epic would it have been if Chris rock had immediately turned around and did the “two types of black people” bit. “Black people and Will Smith”. Akaash had me dying when he did that 😂
Found you two on the Uncle Ruckus compilation from the boondocks...yall been a staple of my day ever since. Much love and respect, keep them eyes more closed than open 😏😂.
You guys are great. Words don't require violence - ever. Will Smith has just been up in his entitled world for too long - just like hundreds/thousands of others in the entertainment industry.
Chris got slapped cuz Will laughed and Jada didn't think it was funny. She's wearing Will's balls for earrings and he tried to reclaim 1 of them temporarily but failed miserably
This is suuuuch a good compilation 🤣🤣🤣 gawdamn I had seen/heard many of these- but you two ALWAYS turn it up to 11. Infectious laughter is the best kind
Generally speaking, you don't wanna mess with the comedians! Will Smith is done! They are gonna roast him and his bald wife for decades to come! Just think of what Bill Burr will do with this?! Or Chris Rock himself! This is pure comedy gold!
