Every Coromon Type Explained! 

Yo, Coromon's Monster designer/animator here! Wanted to say I'm rly digging the content you post, keep it up and can't wait to see what's next ! :D

Maybe Foul attacks interact emotionally with types. Because water is usually peaceful, but when it's affected by foul energy(foul weather) it becomes restless and uncontrollable. That probably affects the body of the coromon and thus makes it super effective. -Similarly it doesn't affect sand type, because it's comprised of little solid crystals and they can't really change by negative energy. -Probably fire and electricity can be affected by energy, however they don't have a peaceful state(in nature) and therefor they're not susceptible by external energy, but they still have some effect on them, so that's why it's neutral. - if we accept ice type being only associated with ice and not with snow or the cold, then it could work. Since ice is solid water, then the effects of the foul energy are neutralised. -Okay, if we take a logic interaction between normal type and foul skill type, then normal should be weak against foul because using dirty tricks on your opponent gives you the upper hand. However, if we accept skill types to be an extension of normal type, then it makes sense why none of the skill types, except poison are super effective against normal type. Moreover, maybe all skill types were originally normal type, but because of bizarre effects occuring with some attacks, they decided to classify them as their own separate thing. -Lastly about ghost type. I think because foul skills give negative energy they should affect them in some way, but because they are an extension of normal type, they counteract one another. Honeslty I doubt the Coromon developers thought this much on it, but fuck it, because I did.

i caught a 20 point potent lympyre and increased its potential using potialnator or some thing from donor island and its looks op black and green color pallet

I think poison is weak to ice because animals in cold areas have a thick layer of fat around them. This layer prevents cold but also prevents poisonous bites from getting to the veins, making the poison useless. This is why venomous nimals arent seen that much in cold areas

Why don't they just make foul effective against normal and poison effective against water? I think it's makes more sense, for me at least.

Since chomp is the one foul type move, I think the most logical way to think about it would be as a source of infection. So water, being vulnerable to bacterial and viral pollutants, is weak to foul - think garbage and feces and rabid animals. Poison, on the other hand, would be more like... well actual ingested poison, or injected venom. It's a chemical agent that acts through metabolic pathways. Ice coromon, having presumable slower metabolic rates, would therefore be less susceptible to poison.

I think the idea of having typings that no coromon can be is actually pretty unique. I think it would be cooler to keep it that way. As a side note, loving the first video with the new thumbnails. Can’t wait for the new intro to start being on the videos, too. 😁

The offensive only types were only added so that each type could have an equal ammount of weaknesses and resistances.

I really like the idea of skill types and the fact that STAB is only 25%. Both work to make large damage multipliers less accessible, which might open up the playing field for more interesting interactions and also kind of balances itself because stuff can't as easily oneshot each other (something modern Pokemon and the old Nexomon suffer from for example). Some of the typings don't make much sense to me though at the moment. Normal in particular is way to wide in definition. Granted, the Pokemon player in me is speaking here, but bugs are very different in physique and other properties than mammals or little machines (like Patterbit). Bugs are easily damaged by fire or ice, where mammals or machines don't mind the cold or hibernate. Idk, just stuck out as weird to me. The other is Cut. I like the idea of it, but I immediately thought of Persona's/SMT's physical triangle with Cut, Pierce and, I think, Blunt. Idk, Cut on its own feels a little incomplete, but on the other hand, types like that feel like they'd need an extra chart based on hardness/fluffiness of the target.

So very late entry but water is strong to foul because water is often seen as a purifier against unholy spirits and the ground is often something that is sacred or keeps spirits peaceful if burried properly.

Well, ice thaws faster in water that in the open, because of convection, well, convection is faster with water than with the air. Convection is the transfer of heat via a fluid's molecules. Since water is much more dense than the air this means ot has more molecules, so there is much more things where the heat can be transfered. Still, it's a game mechanic, dont think about them as reasonings, they are more like excuses.

One of the things that annoyed me when I was a kid in Pokémon is that you can figure out the types interactions by just thinking logically about them and then you have curve balls like ice vs water being not affective I mean at least make it normal damage if they don’t want it to be super effective 😅 btw congrats on hitting 3K subs 😃 it seems there’s a chance you’ll hit 4K or even 5K by the end of 2020

The Nexomon Extinction costs here in Belgium €35 but someone told me it was only €20? Hows it by you guys?

Heavy: Idea is that in Whales, fat or blubber is used to insulate their body from the cold, thus warming them up. Heavy Type is strong against Coldness or Ice because of this, and try heating that poor whale and lets see how well it can disperse that Fire or Heat.

Cool just explaine my lunarpup was a normal i hade 16 wen i got to the second heleing senter uif the pc box i got up stares and talk to to guy to the right the wen he finish uif my lunarpup it got to 17 and now is potent and the color change

For foul type maybe it’s because the foul corrupt the land and water, In fantasy movies and games dark magic can corrupt the environment

How about this, Fire burns Electric appliances. One thing that I hate about Pokemon is this: Grass is a weak type. The mascot or the starter types should be equal. So how about this for a monster catching game: You can have 8 mons in your team Of which one STRONG reptilian starter and one weak mammalian starter are compulsory to enter the league. Water-->Fire-->Electric-->Water Trio 1 (THE strong trio, starter belongs here) All 3 beat Metal Plant-->Rock-->Ice-->Plant Trio 2 (the weak trio, secondary starter belongs here) All 3 beaten by Metal Plant beats Water but beaten by Electric and Fire Rock beats Fire but beaten by Water and Electric Ice beats Electric but beaten by Fire and Water Now, the Weak trio beats Ground, which beats Metal and the Strong trio. Similarly, Fighter

So we can expect this game in late 2021 or 2022?
