I know this is probably meant to porTREY a couple, but man. I have this fight- I mean discussion- with myself every damn day. But tomorrow is a new day. And a new package.
Painfully accurate as always🙃🙃 right at the point when the loving and respectful couple (😉😉) is about to accuse one another of all possible mortal sins and spoiling each other’s lives to the point of no return, the smart husband here (gotta give him that) adjourns the monthly finance meeting 😁😉😎 This marriage will last, he is a good one:))
Omg I’ve been married 21 years and finances have caused more arguments than anything else. We live in Hawaii too which is the most expensive state in the US so, yes, we have a lot of ammunition for arguments 😅
Literally just got done having a " conversation " with my husband and his frivolous spending on more crap he doesn't need and we argued and I was weeping and I APOLOGIZED TO HIM!! Wtf is wrong with ME?? Then we both took blame, made up and I got on RU-vid and saw thus and watched it and I've been laughing cuz a) It's all true and b) it just happened to me 30 mins ago! Coincidence??
Same here. My ex husband had no sense of a budget and got a high from spending. It’s a relief to be away from that and in the future I will have the money talks PRIOR to “I do.”
The writing and comedic timing is, of course, excellent, but can we please appreciate Trey's editing. Lots of great J and L-Cuts with the audio to make the conversation more realistic.
I feel this deeply. MY rare and tiny purchases are “extras” while HIS weekly and expensive tools, materials, computer thingies, and miscellaneous doo-dads purchases are “important”.
My husband just pulled out the excel sheet today for our finances “discussion”. Why do you have to call me out like that and why are all of us married millennials the same? 😭
Easiest way to budget... throw EVERTHING on the credit card. If i can't pay off the credit card on the 1st of the month.. we've spent too much and should slightly cut back for next month
Shut up!! Didn’t think I could love you more and then you said No Shoes Nation 🥳🤩😍 omg!! Shoutout to the Kenny Chesney fanbase 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ (I have a custom No Shoes Nation charcuterie board from Pottery Barn 🤣)
Bill Burr on how women argue: “If they’re right; they are the point until you’re on your knees, begging for forgiveness. If they’re wrong: they go rouge, start attacking personal shit”
This got a bit to mean for me to enjoy the humor as much as I normally do. 😊 I know it is for humor's sake, but it would be sad to have that kind of exchange with someone you love and then just leave it at that and go walking away. 😢
I beg my husband to create a budget 😂 he has a perfect credit score, he is so good with finances...as a single man. Now that we're married, I'm like, please, puhhhleaaase, help my tiny tiny contribution of income be contributed to our savings account and my student loans in the smartest way possible because I can't 😢 I can't 😢😢
6 Necessities - Transportation, Clothing, Food, Medical, Housing, and Communication (Phone, internet, postal service) Balance between quality and lowest possible price. Once these needs are taken care of, then pay off your debts. Consider building a Savings account as part of your debts. Even if it's $10 per month, it's better than nothing to save. When all debts that you owe other entites are paid off, take that monthly debt payment and add it to your "Savings Debt" (Savings account you don't touch ever except in true emergencies). Slowly increase quality of needs to get more wants. Good Luck!
