A rock. todo can swap with anything with cursed energy, so yuji threw it (with some energy) and todo was able to swap with it, thus landing a black flash with all of that momentum from the rock throw.

Then just go ahead play heaven stands with more than 60 fps and a way better graphic by yourself why would anyone judge by fps if its still can be seen quite clearly
