I love bags too! Wow the extra room in the North face bag really was surprising how much more it would hold!!! I like a sling bag with a water bottle mesh holder on the outer side! But all sizes come in handy for something lol. Both my husband and I have various size bags we share. Fun video!!!

Thanks for doing this review! I appreciate that you showed how a water bottle fit in them, because most reviewers don't, and that's always a primary concern of mine. I like Rickshaw Bagworks A5 Field bag. It's pricier than the ones you bought, but Rickshaw makes durable things. They have the measurements on their website, and a video so showing how some things fit, so you can get an idea if it's for you. It's a shame that the Osprey doesn't quite fit an A5 -- I really like that they have a good warranty and water resistant coating, and I really like that belt loop clip. I have been disappointed with the quality of products from The North Face over the last few years, but I used to find them very reliable. Another bag I like is a vintage Czech army bag, usually called a bread bag. The newer ones are made out of vinyl, which I don't like, but the older ones are made out of canvas. They aren't padded, and they don't zip closed (they usually close with either straps or toggles, depending on era), but they are canvas and really durable, and they're a great size. I also like that they're vintage because they are essentially getting reused and not adding new manufacturing waste.

I really love bags and pens too, including FPs and I was just looking at this bag online 😄 It looks great and I appreciate the review, including packing it with an A5, as I am a bullet journaler as well!

I tested many bags to find one that would suit my edc well. Take a look at small "Sling" bags. For me they are a good "middle ground" between the standard messenger bags and the small edc bags. There are two models that serve me very well; the Jansport "Street Sling" and the Chrome Industries "Mini Kadet". Thanks for the videos.

Consider a memobottle for its flat/flask design.
