That scene in the finale where Rick is just sitting in his driveway, drinking and gunning down every Rick that comes at him, there’s something about it that just hits me some type of way. That whole montage of him looking for Diane’s killer is probably one of my favorite moments in the series
@@Scotsmen Diane's killer is C-137 Rick, a.k.a Rick Prime or The Rickest Rick. It very nearly impossible to defeat him, although considering they are someway the same, our Rick might have a very very small chance.
@@AnalysisMode80085 the fuck you on. Why would C-137 kill his own wife and child? Our Rick, aka the Rickest Rick, is C-137. His Diane's and Beth's killer is, Rick Prime, aka our Morty's OG Rick.
@@SilverBlazer565 I’ll give you 20 bucks if you can name ONE thing like back to the future besides the names and the concept of one being a teen and the other being a scientist
Finding out that the Rickest Rick never even had a Morty of his own, that was some wild shit. He really does exploit everything and everyone around him…
Can you blame him? He has finally come to a point in his life where he decided that he was gonna focus on his family and the instant he did that it was all taken from him.
If morty didn't get mad and go back in after fighting hoovys son he would have died and his kids wouldn't have believed him or made the kingdom but he's Morty he fucks things up like that
Was Morty even aware about the time difference in Narnia? He could have asked for advice in the world, and the next time he returns, the couple he met are old and have a son
@@EternalEmperorofZakuul Rick actually explained it very well to Morty and even reminded him not to screw it up. Its Morty's own fault for being so wimpy that he can't lift a crate of wine or grab the individual bottles. As well as the fact of being too preoccupied with getting into Jessica's pants that he didn't consider the consequences of his actions.
9:09 Strangely, this moment hit me hard. Showing emotions from the federation trooper over his fallen friend and then him crying over it made me stop and think
4:05 really hit hard. It was such a beautiful scene, with the music and the colors. Really captured the absolute horror of the situation, and the amount of destruction caused by someone who had seemed so peaceful.
This is definitely a new record for most deaths in a season. Hundreds of clones, 2 planets, thousands of sperm creatures, turkey hybrids, giant monsters, most the Ricks and Mortys in the Citadel.
@@daisydaflower8263 They instigated that. Planetina's managers didn't want her being around Morty anymore. They implied that if Morty didn't step off that they were gonna kill him.
@@isolatedlife8535 I think it was more of a jab at cancel culture, the writers were basically saying "This isn't racist/xenophobic/etc, we aren't mocking arabic people (like apoo getting cancelled in the simpsons) hence "I am an individual who represents no group"
he actually missed one. When morty went back to the castle the first time and they unleashed the volly of arrows and rocks at him, they killed the guard who was down there with him
Welcome to the kill count, where we tally up the victims in all our favorite horror movies. I’m James A. Janisse and today were looking at Rick and morty season 5
Out of all the episodes in season 5, The first episodes is my favorite one. I love how the dog people were just killing their own fathers. One wanted to kill his father because he caused his mother's death. The other one wanted to kill his father for power. Some people just hate their own father to the point that they want them dead. It's not uncommon for males to hate their own father. Their common enemy was Morty himself. Their internal divide benefited him to the point he won the war.
Question if you know Where the hell do all the decoys live They're scattered around the country of America but yet all the neighborhoods of the decoys look the same Why is that?
That was rick during his revenge rampage phase, assuming that was actually the Birdperson Rick-C137 hooked up with. He still had hope during that time, he was optimistic, and he wasn't a cynical asshole, C137 fell into the usual archetype of Ricks because he gave up on finding "Weird" Rick.
You left out one kill during the nimbus episode where one of the dogs get killed when Morty tries to re-enter on his third try and the dog gets caught in the crossfire
1:34 I like how even though Morty is kinda anti killing, he was the first ( and only ) one the kill his decoy. Also, he was kinda of agressive since we can see that after he killed Morty he put another knife in the chest
Its said that the show writes morty's questions and reactions as if he were the audience. When he saw the sight of that, his reaction was, "OH MY FUCKING GOD". So ur in good conscience being disgusted.
The fact that the soo many ricks came together to build a wall around the central infinite curve to separate all the infinite realities from all the infinite realities where Rick is the smartest person in the universe so that no other human being as smart as Rick could interact with their reality is perplexing yet Rick gets in contact with any other of that reality. But this suggests otherwise.
@@Persun_McPersonson A circle is finite, yet you can find infinite lengths inside of it. That's why the curve is called finite, it contains all universes in which Rick is the smartest being, but those range in infinity.
@@Persun_McPersonson Infinity is a really weird concept. Something can actually be finite but also infinite, or less infinite than another infinite. Take integer numbers for example, they are infinite, but less infinite than a number set also including all decimal numbers. Or the numbers between integers, there is an infinite number of numbers between 0 and 1, or 1 and 2. So imagine if you will that the universes where Rick is the smartest are the numbers between integers with a decimal value of exactly .5481, and other decimal values are universes where other people are the smartest. You could make a finite number set that includes 1.5481, 2.5481, 3.5481, and so on, into infinity. It's considered finite, because it's limited, but it's also infinite because it's endless. You also have things like Gabriel's Horn that is a geometric figure with infinite surface area, but finite volume.
If there could be uncountably infinite universes in general (same "infinite size" as the real numbers) then the council of Ricks could have made the Central Finite Curve a countably infinite (same cardinality as the natural numbers) structure of universes where the Rick's are the smartest. The Central Finite Curve would be a proper subset of all universes by Cantor's theorem on cardinality comparison.
@@kittybossatron I believe he was referring to the Rick that yelled "Killing us won't bring her back". As in his wife that the other Ricks or Rick assassinated.
@@colinftp3288 this season also has got the best self produced music! Flowers, a bit of pasta, turning turkey, battle of blood ridge, borrowed time, two crows theme and the spectacular evil morty theme. Very sweet!
In a weird way, this show is attempting to show us what infinite IS! How futile it is for us to get caught up in the everyday bullshit, and how important it is to love when we can.
But in reality, infinite - is only a mathematical thing. We see nothing infinite in our day to day life. That's why it is inportant to remember that it is only a fiction. And it's important to love and be responsible because there is nothing infinite around you.
They should make a single-player first-person/third-person shooter for _Rick & Morty._ The potential for weapons, vehicles, and enemies is just insane. It'd be like _Destroy All Humans!_ but dialed up to 11.
1:50 Now that's a semi competent Jerry. Managed to kill the whole family including decoy Rick. I think. It's been awhile since I watched the episode so I can't remember which was the real Rick in the end.
OMG!! At 8:10 when Rick is in Bird Persons memory of the events he was doing when he was younger. He was killing the other ricks and one said "Killing us Won't Bring Her Back"!!! HIS REFERRING TO HIS WIFE!! While rick was still hunting.
You missed one, in Episode 1 at around 10:45, Morty goes through the portal to get more wine and bumps into a guard waiting at the portal, the soldiers shoot arrows and boulders in the general direction of the portal killing the guard who was guarding the portal.
great observation, lets see i actually want to try to piece this puzzle together. so c-147 made the finite curve right? so if his backstory consists of others using the green portals before hes created the curve can only mean two things. or really anything, but likely one of these 2. either the green doesnt actually symbolize the finite curve and is just used for reference in comparison to yellow, which is the actual symbol for the finite curve, also when rick is shown creating the poral fluid it is already green, meaning the creation of the portal fluid itself proves that the liquid and portals are green, to be green, not that they turned green only when the finite was created. the only other alternative i could think of is if rick is lying which he has proven to do in season 3 when explaining his "backstory" for when it suits him best.
