Too bad it won't save him from floods after climate change. Sure it may be water-proof, but he will only last a day or four at most without additional oxygen.
@@Zero.Requiem No, we have the ability to move away or build boats or ships. If this guy is locked inside of his bunker house and does not move away from the water then he dies first.
@@Thor.Jorgensen 😏 floods? Tsunami? It will only last hours at the maximum and if he's able to survive or find a way to get through that then he's golden. Remember Hurricane Haiyan that hit the Philippines? Yeah I'm from the Philippines and you know what's more harder to face not the surge, its the lack of resources after the surge passed. The surge only last a good 6-8 hours. And there's a lot of people who survive getting on higher ground right before the surge or hurricane hit. Heck there's probably more death because of the chaos after surge hit than the actual surge. Beside they didn't even say where exactly he is, if that fortress is on higher elevation than where we are then he doesn't have to worry about anything. Climate change if there's any is not like Noah's story my friend, you'd be able to predict with careful study where and when floods, hurricanes, storm surge and tsunamis gonna hit beforehand so you can be prepared. As far as him, he's ahead of the game than both of us.
@@Thor.Jorgensen from the looks of it this guys probably smack dab in the middle of Texas, so floods aren't probably an issue, and if they where he would have overcome that issue, before he spent SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS on this
@Midousuji Akira About 4.2 million died due to covid that we know of only because of the precautions. Many more would have died had those precautions not been taken. You keep believing your mosquito story and keep hoping you don't get covid.
@@thereisnopandemic was it? So all the politicians in the world who normally don't agree with each other suddenly decided to agree all at the same time to try a political scare? That aside from the millions of people that died and many of those who got it and survived have long lasting problems. Yeah, seems like a political scare to me 🙄....note that was sarcasm.
a lot of preppers refused to do the show for that very reason, many who did the show did it because the pay was good enough to buy more prepping stuff lol
Honestly, he probably overpaid you can build a complete fire rated building, uv lights, steel concrete doors, and the rest of the stuff for much less. uvc lights kill 99% of bacteria and viruses.
some millionaires spend their millions in cars, luxury stuff, etc... he spent in his bunker and stocking water and food... for me it's a wise way of spending money; Water and food are the 2 most important things in life.
@@Thor.Jorgensen not if he positioned his house at a higher elevation. But considering the things are now. He is very well prepared, as our governments are slowly get things out of their hands
@Negan The Savior You do know he sold it, right? Bit ironic. And no, with how much the climate is changing, that place is not going to be safe. Catastrophic weather, such as drought, wildfires, hurricanes, etc. is getting worse. And hurricanes absolutely bring water to areas that are otherwise never flooded.
People only steal from those who they think have what they need. Have a poor looking house, save yourself from burglars, have a mansion screaming rob me, there ya go.
@@oresama93 Poor people have more to lose, and will sHuut your a.. off the back porch and eat a peanut butter sandwich while you’re getting eaten by green flies.
This guy will be one of the first preppers who got attacked because he likes to show off. The best defence for preppers is secrecy and this guy broke it. His house, no matter how secured he thinks it is, people will always find a way inside. Unless he built giant titanium or tough metal box as a house, his house would always have a weakness.
@@HenryPaulThe3rd Sure but he's not going anywhere. It's just a matter of time before they're desperate enough. Unless he wants to give those robbers a free fortress and runs away.
We could adapt to a bidet, couldn't we? 😂 It's supposed to be cleaner too, IDK?? He wouldn't tell us he has gold and silver preserves anyway. Good call and excellent structure!
Irony: There is a solar flare that effects his area disrupting electrical supply, he is unable to release the electrical failsafe mag locks on the doors, ending up stuck in his house and asphyxiates due to the filtration fans not running. On the bright side he had ample toilet paper right up until his death.
If I was going to spend 7 million dollars I would but an old 600 to 800 foot bulk carrier. It has everything you need and plenty of storage. Plus you could go south of the equator away from everyone. You could carry plenty of fuel, top soil, solar panels, wind generator, food and personal items. You could also add a water desalination device to convert salt water to fresh water.
Priceless. I remember watching this months ago. Now Coronavirus 2020 and people fighting over toilet paper. Bet this guy is laughing every time he uses bathroom now.
I used to think people like this are crazy, now not so much, and the sad part is that the only way most of us could even have something even remotely secure would be too pool resources with people, make a doomsday pact, and create a compound that you could jointly defend, but who can you really trust?
I watched this to see his weakness in his design. I'm impressed . But if you cant get in, make sure they cant get out. But I know he thought if that also.
He doesn’t look so crazy now, huh? 😂 This guy has toilet paper while the rest of the world is beating each other up over the last pack. Thank goodness I watched Doomsday Preppers years ago and didn’t think people were crazy. I prepped myself. Wish I’d started sooner!
No such thing as being overprepared, especially when it comes to survival. But true survival is in the wits. Lose all of these rations and stuff and you're gone.
