Just thought of something, what if the reason why Saturn doesn't want to kill Bonnie isn't because she is a celestial dragon, but, is because HE is her father, and we wants to recapture her and bring her home.
There is something worth mentioning: Bonney said she used to visit vegapunks lab when she was little. I dont think the fruit cured her, but Vegapunk did. And Kuma became a cyborg in order to cure her.
lol, It is certainly possible that Vegapunk cured Bonney of her illness, and that Kuma became a cyborg in order to repay Vegapunk for saving his daughter. It is also possible that Bonney's Devil Fruit did not cure her, but that it did give her the ability to control her illness. This could explain why she was able to visit Vegapunk's lab when she was little, even though she was sick. Whatever the case may be, it is clear that there is a close connection between Bonney, Vegapunk, and Kuma. It will be interesting to see how this relationship develops in the future. I am also curious to know more about Bonney's Devil Fruit. It is a very powerful fruit, and it has the potential to be very dangerous. I am sure that we will see more of Bonney's Devil Fruit in the future, and I am excited to see what she does with it.
@@Suto_Ko My curiosity here lies on why Kuma needed to become a slave in order to pay for it, because Vegapunk would never demand him that. Saturn was on play and he probably knew about this "trade", probably, and he demanded that.
kuma could heal illness in return he would be the one who will be sick. theres probably a lot of illnesses he took from people to save them therefore making him the sick one and the only remedy is by making parts of his body a cyborg where illness doesnt occur anymore
Yeah, Vegapunk has some involvement here. Artur seems following Meta Theory from Discord and Reddit again. It started to feel lower quality than before, he also has a theory dragon is the son of Xebec and the dragon is the man marked by flames and also the mother flame is a weapon/missile, and so on.
Out of curiosity, Kuma asks Booney what she wants to do when she turns 20, she mention the "Sky Islands where Nika is". 20 years ago, in November 2003, chapter 299, is just when Luffy has the final confrontation with Enel and his shadow is projected in the sky.
Another thing that i thought about , is that is highly probable that Bonney goes to Elbaf with the Strawhats and Elbaf turns out to be another Skyisland entrance.
@@alvarogarrido7313 I also believe in this theory, since we know that there is a normal entrance to the islands in the sky, and perhaps the giant Elbaf tree is as tall as the white sea and at the top of it is the entrance.
It's crazy in retrospect that Kuma was probably genuinely asking Perona where she would like yo vacation. She may have even reminded him of Bonney in that moment, since both share pink hair and even a personality trait or two.
If Saint Saturn really is Bonney's biological father, then he literally raped and discarded the woman that Kuma loved just to spite him - have this man drawn and quartered. No, I'm not kidding.
I can see Saint Saturn saying: “ Bonney, I didn’t kill your father, I AM your father. “ This is Oda’s chance to throw in a Star Wars reference on the SCI-FI island. It would be perfect.
I dont have anyone to talk to one piece about in your videos always make me feel normal with seeing some of these small things, but the amount of things you see is unmeasured keep it coming we appreciate your hard work!!!!!
kuma turning himself into a cyborg was never a selfish thing like "to stop the disease" or to "not feel pain". He 100% did it for the Person he loved the most, Bonney.
And if he mentions it, it would take the reader's focus away from the celestial dragon's atrocities as a whole entity which would be counterproductive of what Oda has been showing us starting from the God Valley flashback.
Its so disturbing to imagine Ginny being forced upon by one of those gross, snot nosed, space helmet wearing freaks and conceiving a baby by them. She was a very sweet and fun character and definitely didn't deserve such a hellish fate. But this just once again shows how downright vile the celestial dragons are.
I hate that nobody talks about how they wear suits and the first time we hear about a disease more rare then white lead disease goes to show you them nasty mfs got a contagious disease that can spread or can't physical touch humans bc of the sapphire that saturn spread to all CD from the void century
Interested about the revolutionary army's original flag. It looks like a saw and club. A club being used to beat/thresh rice would make it an interesting parallel to the hammer and sickle. Saw and Club both representing Worker and Farmer in parallel.
The freedom fighters flag was a sword. The revolutionaries flag takes that sword and stabs the dragon in the head. That's what the new symbol is. It's the sword stabbing the dragon. You can see the point coming out of the top between the horns
Hmm I see what u did there, a very good interpretation, the dragon being the Celestial dragons I assume? But even then do u think Dragon has knowledge of Ryuma?
@@Jay.D.Argonaut I feel like he knows quite a bit about the WG and Celestial Dragons hence the flag. Freedom Fighters probably just went around freeing countries with no real knowledge of the WG. I think Dragon meeting Ivankov and Kuma changed that mission from liberating a few countries to starting a worldwide revolution because he probably knows nothing will change
i appreciate that your videos don't come out until the official release. at least this way i feel if i get spoiled by a thumbnail i blame myself for not reading the chapter yet.
Which is said, so many impatient children on One Piece groups online don't respect Oda's hard work and are already sharing shit as early as Wednesday....
Kuma's phrase to the straw hats gives mi nightmares now. It's so heartbreaking thinking that a magnificent character only remembered by instinct what he always told his child. One piece never ceases to amaze me even after so many years.
On an SBS when Oda age swapped the Supernova, Bonney looked a lot like Shanks. Perhaps her father is not just a random Celestial Dragon. But Figarland Garling himself. And in a way makes sense, the loss of Shanks, has left him without a heir.
My prediction on how Bonney is cured is that Kuma uses his devil fruit to push the disease out of Bonney and takes it in himself, but knowing it is incurable agrees to become a Pacifista to hide it from Bonney so she doesn't blame herself for it.
And they say pirates are bad...! Look at the upper ones!! I hate those celestial dragons more and more with every new chapter and information we get.... The past from Bonney and Kuma is breaking my heart into million pieces :(
The RA flag is their sword through the head of a dragon. It's not a lower jaw. The dragon has only two horns. The middle segment above the head is the tip of the sword.
Bonney was supposed to be 22 years old while Kuma is 47. We know now that Bonney is between 12-13 yo thanks to this chapter. Before, we had one big clue that Bonney was younger than she appeared. Indeed Kuma Would have been 25 when Bonney was born which would make him way younger than most father in One piece (Most are around their 30s-35s) such as Kobra, Dragon, Kuros, Oden, Kaido etc... Now Kuma is 34-35 at the time bonney is born which is more in line with the others Father-child relationships of the manga. It may seems like it's a nitpick but Oda pays attention to this (for Example, Kaido and Oden are the same age and had their child at the same time : 33 years old for Momo and Yamato). As for why it can look weird (except obviously for some fanservicy panels that are creepy in insight), we need to remember that the supernovas were created on the fly at when Oda was writing the Sabaondy arc. He hadn't thought about what to do with them after. He probably had some good idea on what would be Kuma's story, seeing the foreshadowing ever since at least Thriller Bark. But I'm pretty sure that the idea of Bonney being Kuma's daughter was implemented years laters. At one point she was surely considered a young adult for Oda. On the other hand, I saw some people predict that she would become the next Strawhat, which would be interesting storywise, as she could became like a little sister for Luffy (Nice both as Bonney and Luffy are close minded individuals and as Luffy evolution as a character throught his differents brothely bonds). And having Kuma leaving Bonney in the hands of the Strawhat crew before he dies would be a powerful yet bittersweet conclusion to his arc.
We knew how old she was when she was stuck in that water pool, idk why people kept guessing lol water stops devil fruits so she turned into her kid selfb
@@Mvgical make sense in insight, but need i remind you that Chopper keeps his hybrid form (brain point) when in water instead of reverting back to his original reindeer form. That and Luffy is still able to be streched even while immersed in Water (for example during Alrong park). There's a whole lot of examples like those in the manga (i think Big Mom fell into the sea and her soul companions didn't disappeared. Heck, she's supposedly dead but Zeus is still here) So there really isn't any rule set in stone about that. Althought we now know Bonney's 12. At the time, she could have been disguised as a young girl, fell into the water and got stuck because of that in her young apearance. I mean, following the Chopper logic, water would only block her ability to age and de-age and not completly revert her back.
well, of Bonney's age and her relationship with Kuma. It is certainly possible that Oda originally planned for Bonney to be an adult, but then changed his mind later on. This could explain why her physical appearance does not always match her age. I also think that the idea of Bonney becoming a Straw Hat is very interesting. She would be a great addition to the crew, and she would provide a unique perspective on the world. Additionally, her bond with Luffy would be very heartwarming.
i think she easily could have been intended to be OLDER than she seemed at first, tbh. and maybe her appearance as "Conney" was a reference to that or a continuation of that
I think we should not underestimate Oda's writing. When he created a character, he already knew what kind of story he want to write with that character. This story has always been his plan all along since 15 years ago.
This is a reach, I doubt with the characterization that Saturn has gotten thus far that he would even want to have a non-celestial dragon partner, he would think of that being below him.
Unless he being the Warrior God of Science did the deed for nothing more than an experimentation or to lure Kuma to a position where he could enslave him once again.
Your mistake is assuming he wanted her as his wife. If Saturn found out Ginny started the God Valley incident, he has every reason to target her specifically. They lost several powerful and rare Devil Fruits and potentially some of their own CDs due to an incident that had to be censored from history.
@@nedrostram2360 I was using a little bit of tact by referencing the word "partner" but what I meant is I don't even think Saturn would want to rape/have sex with a lowly human. Everything in his writing thus far points to the fact that sexual relationships with a human would only serve to degrade his status.
sapphire scale could be based on a number of dermatological diseases or disorders: Actinic prurigo (AP), itchy rash in response to sun exposure. Argyria, changes in skin color due to silver buildup in your body (blue skin). Harlequin ichthyosis, thick, hard patches or plates on the skin that are present at birth.(don't google if you are squeamish) Lamellar ichthyosis, waxy skin layer that sheds in the first few weeks of life, revealing scaly, red skin. and possibly skin cancer(shortening life span) and a lot of those not only are rare, but typically occur due to autoimmune issues, or are hereditary.
If it is the fruit that cures Bonney, how come that when she is reverted to original age at the behinning of Egghead Arc she didn't get the stone back? I put my money on Vegapunk being the healer. Maybe the piercing is some kind of device
Albeit noncanon, in Film Z Robin and Nami both get de-aged and still have their current knowledge, whether Bonney was cured by the DF or Vegapunk, her CURRENT self is already cured, she's not going back in time
I believe we have seen a relation of St. Jay Garcia wayback in the series before Bonney if that theory is true this relative is Dr. Kurhea. 1. Rhea is a moon that orbits the planet Saturn 2. her being the daughter/sister of Saturn explains her long lifespan 3. her nickname by the natives she was called The Witch and witches are linked with demons by summoning them or as allies 4. she took over Drum Castle because it reminded her of her youth.
I think your theory about Dr. Kureha being related to St. Jay Garcia is very interesting. There is certainly some evidence to support your theory. 1. Rhea is a moon that orbits the planet Saturn. This is a significant connection, as it suggests that Dr. Kureha may have a special connection to the Celestial Dragons, who are known to have a moon-themed aesthetic. 2. Her being the daughter/sister of Saturn explains her long lifespan. The Celestial Dragons are known for their long lifespans, so it would make sense if Dr. Kureha is also long-lived. 3. Her nickname by the natives she was called The Witch and witches are linked with demons by summoning them or as allies. This nickname suggests that Dr. Kureha may have some magical abilities. This would be in line with the theory that she is related to the Celestial Dragons, who are known to have advanced technology and knowledge. 4. She took over Drum Castle because it reminded her of her youth. This suggests that Dr. Kureha may have a strong connection to the past. This would be in line with the theory that she is related to the Celestial Dragons, who are known to have a long history. Of course, this is just a theory, and there is no proof that Dr. Kureha is related to St. Jay Garcia or the Celestial Dragons. However, the evidence that you have presented is certainly compelling.
When Saturn appeared on Egghead in his demon form he said "I almost can't remember the last time I came to the surace" maybe this was hinting towards an aversion of the sun... An old illness that still affects him and that weaker humans/offspring die from?
@@Aldiraider In both cases, he used his human form and possibly demon forms and he was not affected by the sun at all unless the anime or manga confirms both cases happen at night. However, most of the Gorosei scenes happen in the morning with sunlight coming through the windows. I don't Saturn has the illness he makes the illness to mock the slaves' faith in Joy Boy and the Sun.
Imagine Saturn is the biological father of Boney who gave her and Ginny the disease, and Kuma arrives and takes out Boney’s pain and that is the only strong thing that can hurt and kill Saturn since her pain is so strong and deep, maybe Luffy will be the one who pushes Saturn to the bubble of Boney’s.
It seems the earth-shattering revelations have just kept coming ever since the Five Elder Stars/Planets' names and domains of governance were revealed earlier this year. I never knew that the planets had associated gemstones in historic astronomy/gemology practice, but it does make sense considering the value and prestige associated with precious stones and the vast elemental/cosmic/general power associated with the celestial bodies.
My theory about how Bonney is still alive is because Kuma traded himself/his body for Bonney's fruit, and she is essentially keeping herself in a constant state of Distorted future. The problem with this is that it's not permanent, so it could be inferred that Bonney is only delaying her illness, since it progresses in the time that she's not keeping herself in a distorted future.
I GREATLY BELIEVE Oda choose Dragon's name as giving us a breadcrumb spread in 1k+ chapters to this exact moment. This chapter was the last piece of info we needed. But I will be desapointed because it is hard to believe someone too young could become admiral. So, I think we can use vice-admirals to fill the zodiac checkboxes.
My theory would be that this disease is not natural, but one made by or for the celestial dragons. Remember Charlos wanting a mermaid to have her be hunted by his shark as a form of entertainment. I wouldn't put it past them to use their prisoners or slaves or slave wives as a base to grow gems or turning them into living statues.
The...rat. Is Captain Nezumi going to become an admiral?! 😱 Unfortunately, neither the snake nor the rat really fits Coby. If he achieves his dream, does that mean he breaks the pattern. (Or maybe he exposes marine corruption and other marines call him a rat (meaning snitch) for it.)
All Admirals and the candidates are based on real life actors. The zodiac marines at least. That being said, Bogard may be one (the grey rat because the rat in japanese is associated with the grey color which fits Bogard, as well as the inspiration from Humphrey Bogart). This leaves us three marines, one could be a Kuja for the snake and one for the Dragon and one for the Goat. I'd bet Toshiro Mifune who is considered a legendary actor to be the GOAT leaving one place for the Dragon whom I want to be Sonny Chiba, given his connection to MackenRYU of the live action series
My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. When seeing what happened to Ginny & how Bonney was born, I now wonder if the next chapter will be the last one of Kuma's flashback, which may lead to how he met Vegapunk & why he allowed him to be the mindless weapon we know him today! 2. When seeing the World Nobles do something like that to Ginny, we definitely need Dragon and/or Kuma to come to Egghead & vanquish Saturn for good! 3. I don't mind whether or not Kuma is Bonney's real father. But I do wonder if Bonney will truly be spared from the same fate the Celestial Dragons will eventually receive.
I think that there's going to be 2 or 3 more chapters of kuma flashback, because he has to overthrow the government, become known as a tyrant, a warlord, find a way to cure bonney and talk to vegapunk
3. I highly doubt the revolutionaries will kill Bonnie for being the child of a celestial dragon or anyone else for that matter. That kind of thinking is sins of the father bullshit is what celestial dragons do. The revolutionaries to go around and do the exact same thing would be supreme hypocrisy and make them little better than those they fight plus it would be a huge insult to the memory of Kuma Who would be absolutely against the idea of the revolutionaries killing his daughter for something she had no control over. The only celestial dragons who are on the chopping block are those who were born and raised in the Holy Land, and believe and support the horrific bullshit said group does. Bonnie would just be seen as an individual who happens to have celestial dragon blood but isn't really a celestial dragon herself. There are probably a few people out there who have celestial dragon blood because their mothers had the misfortune of drawing the attention of a celestial dragon and then the horrific inevitable happened.
Don't make any mislead. You should change the thumbnail, dude. Saturn has confirmed that Bonney's dad is a fellow unnamed Tenryubito, not Saturn himself.
Saturn: Didn't Vegapunk told you about your father? Bonney: He has told me enough! He said you killed him! Saturn: No, I am your father. Bonney: No... That's impossible... This can't be... Noooooo...
I just wanted to say thanks artur Your videos always put a smile on my face ...just like one piece Thanks that you share your beautiful passion with us
If Jay Garcia is the father then there's a big chance that Ginny got the curse from eavesdropping and probably saw Imu's face and one of the elder's ability cursed her turning into a stone similar to Medusa/Boa's DF
I love your theories man. Alot of the theorists in this community just grasp at straws, but you put so much more thought into yours than anyone else. Over here doing god's work.
I believe it's a stretch to assume that Saturn is Bonney's father. Nevertheless, I concur with the notion that the Celestial Dragons' Blue Sapphire virus might have been personally created by Saturn. This is due to his role as the foremost scientist among the Celestial Dragons.
4:15. 4:20 the rigged line symbol could be a reference to the Red Line And in the old design the other line going through it could represent the necessary destruction of the red line
11:10 To be fair, Doc Q and Queen both also have the ability to spread rare diseases. Heck, I bet even Iva could come up with something if he'd put his mind to it.
He frequently talks about the Eve tree, but my issue with that is the roots are still providing sunlight to Fishman Island, so the top still has to be whole somewhere, and it's not at Mari jois.
yeah tbh I found it weird how a character as ruthless as Saturn ordered the Navy to just pay Bonney no mind on Egghead. Not to mention Oda drew a whole panel of his unnatural facial reaction when she referred to Kuma as her father . Oda has always been so deliberate in his writing and I feel like we're too close to the end for such blatant "accidents" or "coincedences". He's going full Gerry Springer on this arc it's wild.
How would they have pulled it off? She was taken taken to the most secure location in the One Piece world, the heart of the world government. The only way they would have had a shot would have been to intercept the ship that took her.
Ginny was 13 and she was a little girl like tama, carrot is 15 and she is a grown lady with big boobs, and all the princesses are 16, or were 16 their first appearance before the timeskip (Vivi), even pudding is 16... there is no logic behind all this
i was thinking the same thing on how's bonney's disease disappreared, kuma might really have taken it that's why he agreed to be a cyborg of the government..
4:20 remember momonosuke when greenbull pulled up and he couldnt use boro breathe !!!! remember what katakuri was called dogtooth....a dragons mouth is scary guys....maybe something about it...the dragons breathe....
my theory is that Kuma give his all body and organ to Bonney.. so bonney is half buccanir, footnote : when bonney use his DF when attacking vegapunk, we see bonney body is more like kuma's type body
Shanks: I want to talk to you about a certain Pirate, Bonney is the daughter of Ginny who is a wife of a celestial dragon. You heard/read it from me. 😂
another fun lil tid bit is this whole ordeal explains Bonney watched near Marine ford tailing Luffy's chaos just to see Kuma. The short part of her crying was for our Big heroic teddy bear.
Saturn being Bonney's father would be the first instance of one of the Five Elders not only holding slaves, but living a live beyond them simply governing. It would feel kinda uncharacteristic. On top of that, Saturn would probably simply kill Ginny instead of sending her back to freedom. Her life holds no value to him whatsoever, and we already know of his head-exploding powers.
Surely Bonney didn’t know any of this until she touch the kuma memory bubble. Understandable why she attacks Saturn afterwards perhaps. Must have seen something!
Noticed that the WG symbol is just the AK symbol with the 4 diagonal dots removed. Wonder what the dots around the big main “Sun” circle are supposed to represent?
4:14 Just a random theory, the recurring shape in the revolutionary army flags could be a plough. Here is the reason i got: Since strawhat = joyboy = liberator I think that the strawhat symbolises, or at least have a strong association with farmers. It wouldn't surprise me that the revolutionary army, who are there to liberate civilians from oppression, have something that symbolises farmers as well. Just like hammer and sickle symbolizes the working man opposing the elites in our world (at least that's what the USSR initially set out to do) P.S. yes I do think one piece is absolutely political (the recent chapters have only made it more obvious) and Oda is left leaning at the very least. We also know that he draws inspiration from real life events and historical figures.
I need to ask. Why is Shanks the rat?. I know he gas close contact with the Marine High ranks and the Gorosei, but I dont remember in any moment they called him rat or compared him with one, theres is a detail Im losing?
I knew it was gonna be sad, I saw Kuma's backstory coming. I just didn't know how bad it was gonna be. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 You should make a video about every ally of Joyboy and the Ancient Kingdom.
