Just to let y'all know, scarlet witch in the comics in base is at the tier of a low level outerversal being. What that means is that at base level, Wanda is as strong as Jean Grey as the dark Pheonix. Also, she is not plagued by mental issues now. She got better through literal therapy via her experiences.

@@ccl7983 Don't worry guys, in the comics, Wanda is seen as like a surrogate family member to Magneto and Polaris where they both see her as actual family shown in the Trials Of Magneto comics. Wanda has amazing relationships with her siblings,her father, her children and her son in law. 😌
She’s still Magneto’s daughter, not biologically, only adopted but still family. Her being mutant only limits her abilities and there’s no sense for calling her a witch if her ability is only probability manipulation.
Pls lets not forget wanda had been therapeutically helped from her "mentally unstable" faze as yall say. She is not only doing amazing in her own solo series, but she has quite literally had omniversal potential, also being the harbinger of Primordial Chaos this Primordial Chaos created all of existence including entities like Pheonix Force. Wanda also transcended all things and has a place called the Chaos Orchary, a place nobody can access except Wanda, in this plane she is able to bring herself back as shown in Trial of Magneto.

She was literally written as a white Romani until they changed her appearance in recent years due to the modern day agenda of “political correctness”. Also, this is coming from someone who is white and Roma
Difference is: MCU wanted to have a Dark Phoenix storyline but didn’t have the access to the X-Men or mutants to lay any groundwork. So they made Wanda’s hair redder and redder and made her their conciliation Jean Grey.
Something I really hate in comics is the overreliance on physical features to establish identity. As a kid, I didn't know Wanda was Romani (or at least half). Going by her appearence, I assumed she was white. So while I understand her recent look wanting to more visually showcase her background more, I do think it's an issue in comics that someone's features--ESPECIALLY skintone--have to change in order to showcase it. Dark skin doesn't make you POC, and light skin doesn't make you white.
As someone who is white and of Roma descent, what they did with her writing was make her a white Romani woman. Frankly the whole controversy gets on my nerves because there are white Romani people exist and for a long time she was deemed an “improper” Romani woman. The only reason her appearance changed in recent years is because of a modern day agenda for “political correctness”, which is straight bs to be quite Frank. As a kid I was proud to see a character like her who was a white Romani embracing her heritage without having to be put in the category of “if a character is stated to be a specific ethnicity then they have to be a specific race”, which is not how that works in the slightest, and now it’s like she HAS to look a certain way in order for the representation to be deemed “proper” when it was already there to begin with. The whole thing just aggravates me, even to this day
The writers did her dirty by changing her status as non-mutant and Magneto's daughter. Now that Fox is legally under Disney, I hope the comics wil retcon her origins. Again.
Excuse me but... Why do you keep referring to Cthon as Cha-ton?... Anyways... Would've been soo nice if she had been played by a Romani actress in the MCU. And before someone comes here to say something. First of all marvel is a multi billion dollar company which is now owned by Disney which is even richer id I'm not mistaken. They're have enough resources to find and hire a Romania actress. There are plenty of Romani people in this world.
