You have to consider how much the fabric costs: probably 50-100 per yard or more, and there are a lot of yards in a dress like that. It takes a long time to make it and they are probably hand-beaded, too. There’s a tutorial online of a woman replicating the Cinderella dress, and it took her 400 hours and hundreds of dollars for the fabric.

I agree. Had the blush dress came in white I would have chosen that one for her.

@@professorbutters Not necessarily as I have seen dresses just as nice like these but they only cost like a few hundred dollars or $1000 at most. These are way overpriced.

I actually think that it went against the principles of sticking to the budget to suggest a dress so much over the budget. The bride had said that her maximum was $8000, but there was some wiggle room. $4000 over the budget is way beyond wiggle room.

@@theashire2239 all of them. She has great style and knows what works for her. I am short and matronly and likely won't ever be able to do a mermaid or fit and flair. Let alone get married lol but this episode makes me feel like I have lived through her. I practically teared up when she herself could barely speak with her final pick.

Well the mom was paying for the dress this time I think. Usually when a parent is paying they want to make sure it’s a good dress. On the comparison you made: Picking a person to marry is a decision made over a long period of time and usually friends will give disapproval if there are traits you’re blind sighted to. So it’s not completely a decision made alone. I think it’s nice to bring some people dress shopping, just don’t bring too many. Big groups always suck for the bride

​@@meichelledavies7910 They know it aint their wedding But they love the bride obv have good intentions and most importantly the bride values their opinion I am sure she wouldn't want to choose a dress only to realise later that everyone in the wedding hall hated it. That's why asking for opinions from well-wishers is not bad. Some people get easily pleased they would pick out the worst dress ever and then regret that why didnt someone warn them before. Some people want to feel part of that day especially bride's parents who raised her. Some people believe in family values and respect and love their parents and care about their opinion not everyone is like u guys all about "me , my wedding, me, me me"

The white wedding gown is a tradition started by Queen Victoria of England. Until then wedding gowns had been other colors. The white also stands for purity. I agree, some of the new styles of colors like the blush do favor some brides, not all. My wedding gown was way back in late 1980's, it wasn't white, it was Ivory, which clearly is not white. I never would have even considered a colored gown but to each his own.

It's a tradition that goes way back and it means something to a lot of people for that reason.

Yes, white used to signify being a "pure" virgin, however nowadays there are not that many Brides who are still virgins though. So sticking to that traditional white now is kind of pointless, brides should be able to choose color if they want it.

White is only standard to white people, honestly. Most Asian brides wear some shade of red, with lots of gold generally. Watch Nazranaa Diaries to see gorgeous Desi dresses!! So much color!!

@@nikifaith In oriental Asian weddings, we wear 3-4 dresses. One is the typical white one, a cake cutting gown which can be any color, and the traditional wedding one depending on your culture. If you marry a guy from a different culture then you would wear a dress from his culture too which would make it 4 dresses.

@@tcconnection Umm the last dress was a different one & only $7000 & something. I think the $12,000 dress was the one with tiers of lace & crystals that we’ve seen before a few times.

He told her if she hated the gown then she didn't need to come out wearing it, so you can probably safely assume she did hate it.

It would have looked good in white with a paler blush under the bottom bit. I did like the one she picked as well, it was classy and romantic, I love Lazaro.

@@sharlesb7735 I'm so tired of strapless gowns. The brides I've seen wearing them spend half the day tugging the bodice up so they don't show too much skin. The one she chose was perfect. It shows a little and she won't have to worry about showing more than she wants too.

He is close to his niece and are like friends with her so maybe that is why. I am like that with my nephews too.

I would watch the show more often if all the groups were like that.

what is the use of an entourage if they keep their mouth shut? she wanted their opinions, she got them. If she wanted a particular dress she could have been firm with her decision except she was crying in more than 1 dress hence couldn't decide. Moreover it's not your wedding either. You like the blush and so what?

But the bride brought them for a reason they have their right to their opinion if she brought them. If she did not want to hear their opinion I'm sure she would have left them at home.

Bridal dresses can be fancy and busy. Who said that wedding dresses had to be simple. I like the style she likes and hope to pick one that she chose if I ever marry.

It does not come on white. I have seen that dress in other episodes but not all brides are able to pull that dress as stunning as her.

i think some brides want the wow reaction for the crowd on the day, and that is part of loving a dress -- so they want something they love and also something her friends and family love too. if the bride's goal is to wow the audience, the opinion of the audience matters.

I liked the first and blush dress the most. The one she chose was ok too but I did not like the mesh.

She didn’t ask for an sparkling dress. Her taste was rodaré the organza ruffles. All the pictures that she showed.

The first dress was the best. They should have shown her with a veil on that one. The blush dress was stunning on her but since she didn’t like the color, it was out of the question.
