BMW E92 owner yes, it dose look really cool. Gives it another dimension to the car. Now to go out and see what the adjustments are for the best aerodynamics possible..
Thanks man! That’s exactly the video I was looking for! My M3 got almost destroyed by a hail storm. It’s right now at BMW for a complete rebuild. Fortunately payed by the insurance. I will keep the old trunk lid, get the dents removed and install a GTS wing. So I can swap the trunk if I don’t like it anymore in the future. Thank you for the great video. I wasn’t sure where to align the wing. I will do it your way. Thanks!!!
Ok, I put my wing at the same position and I didn’t like it. I moved it further to the end of the trunk, closed the holes, got the trunk repainted and now I love it. 😊
Hot. I used to be fully against wings on these cars but as I get older and more into motorsport inspired builds, this is the way. Good work as always 👍🏻
Hey man, I know you moved all of the nice parts to your 1 series build and don't want to be riding a fully modded e92 as a daily but... Hear me out as a fellow e92 owner. Your e92 M3 is tremendously special. Single hump and manual. I know you don't know what to do with the car and are stuck in two different places but keep this car special. Let's this wing entice you to do more or at least preserve the car. It is already a classic
I Auctally think that maybe you should try to design some type of trunk support for downforce and wings that would be super sick🔥🤙, it might be a pretty good industry for other e92 owners aswell 🤔
Everything you said about proportionally the gts goes so well w/ E92, I have the exact opposite opinion. I have a carbon csl style trunk on mine and I watch track cars on the ring and always get the itch to put one on mine, but I just can’t do it. I love the functionality of it, but my eyes won’t let me see past it. From the front they actually look pretty good, but once I see the back it’s over. Clearly, I’m in the minority and I love watching your vids!
I think the GT4 wing is the way to go but that is personal preference. You also need to get LCI taillights as you did in your previous builds. Greetings from a fellow e92 owner from switzerland
Looks good. Seems like it’s already starting to bow a little? Have seen this on other Suvneer wings. Personally think the Schirmer wing is the best looking wing for any M car
I feel like if you're going with a wing on the E92, you'd want a big upgrade like going from a Porsche Carrera to a GT3. Meaning it needs a bigger wing IMO. It looks too small from certain angles. That's my .02 cents
