Love it. The fake "We care about you" commercial. Genius. The "We know where you live and how much $$ you have".. Fantastic. Also, the fake "skip ad" button..
I don't even remember the Delaware department store, and then this appeared fully formed in my mind as it flashed before me: JEREMIAH WAS A PULLTAB WAS A GOOD CAPITALIST NEVER DID UNDERSTAND ALL HIS JARGON BUT HE ALWAYS MADE ME REALLY PISSED
As an aviation enthusiast, "Saab Viggen" always cracks me up the hardest. That almighty cold-war fighter jet is now a prescription car for "automotive malaise". So good!
As a person who made his living for decades making commercials - including for many, many car dealers - I have always been a fan of your Kunkleman ads. Ask a car dealer "why are your ads SHOUTING AT ME?!?!" and you will get a blank stare. They really don't understand. I had an ad agency ask me to create a campaign for a legacy dealership that was different from the usual shouting ads, and I did. But by the time I got done with making the "little changes" the dealership wanted, the spot was - spoiler alert - me shouting at the top of my lungs and reading disclaimers at turbo speed. With explosions on every price point.
