Clearly early Spring and high water.....the rain in summer must keep it reasonably full? Running through meadows like that is essential for their to be the nutrients to produce such fatties or is it spring fed?

Hey Brother loving your videos. Man that pool is chock full. Just curious what your using caddis/ nymphs/ terrestrials? Have you ever just hit the back of that pool and stripped through it with a streamer, wooly bugger, muddler? If so, was it productive? That’s my game if I was there. 🙋‍♂️👍💯🤷‍♂️

Great questions! 🤙 I’m nymphing up these bows with PT’s and Rubberlegs. I do dead drift streamers occasionally as well! Didn’t strip any meat this trip!

I know what you're saying about getting the fly hook out of your hand. That's a situation where you just want to give the pliers to someone else, look away and yell Yank! After all, it only hurts until it stops hurting.
