Looks amazing! One great tip I learned with chicken thighs, is cooking them skin side down for 4/5ths of the time and only turning them for the last few minutes. The crispiest, most golden skin possible.👌
I am a new subscriber a little because of the recipes but honestly recipes are all over the internet. I’m subscribing because of who you are😊 Your amazing vibes come straight through the screen😘
I made this for dinner this evening - a great success with the whole family. And bone-in chicken thighs are a pretty inexpensive meat. Always looking for an economical dinner for the family.
This looks so good!! I think you're right about the side needing to be fresh and light; it strikes a great balance with the punch of the chicken thighs.
This looks absolutely delicious and I want to compliment you on the beautiful colors of the meal when you plated it up! I’d give anything to taste that gravy. Yum.
We eat a lot of chicken in my house, besides ground beef, it's just less expensive. The chicken thighs look great, Thank you, Mis Camirra!! As far as this meal, I would do yellow ice or Spanish rice on the side, not really a big fan of potatoes, and I love me some good hot, rice. :)
Chicken thighs are the best! As a matter of fact, a few hours ago I took a package of thighs from the freezer to the fridge for dinner tomorrow. A Jewish friend of mine says it's the schmaltz [chicken fat] that makes the difference in taste. Btw, you're very, very entertaining. Thanks for the fun!
I can see from your video that you are a great cook. My mom and any grandma taught me how to cook. We always had fresh rosemary and fresh urbs growing in the garden. It makes everything taste so delicious. Thank you for the recipe. Can't wait to see more recipes from you.
I just cooked this tonight and I must say that this was really good!! That sauce is 😍😋! I chopped up a sweet potato instead of a potato and added a red bell pepper to chop up as well. The sweet potato cooked in the sauce tastes amazing. Thanks for this recipe. 🤗
Beautiful cooking 🎉 One of my favorite meals. I like to grow my own white icicle radishes and add them with the other veggies. I use the small yellow Yukon potatoes. Only no cumbers for me. You got it going on. ❤
I'm glad this video popped up on my feed. I love spending time in the kitchen and always keep an eye out for great home chefs like you. Looking forward to more recipes.
One of my favorite seasonings to duat chicken thighs with is a liberal amount of seasoned-salt, granulated garlic, and fresh cracked black pepper. Its great baked in the oven or cooked on the grill. Especially tasty on charcoal 😋 i made chicken leg quarters in the oven like this last week. One of my boys told me it is better than the fried chicken from the grocery atore. I love that fried chicken so i took this as quite the compliment.
I will definitely be making this for my birthday dinner tomorrow!!! I'm going to make it with Vigo yellow rice and the salad you prepared. Thanks for sharing. God Bless You always 🙏
It looks delicious. I bought my chicken thighs today and now found this recipe, so will be trying it out tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe, can’t wait to try it….
I have two recipes using chicken thighs that my family asks for all the time! One is Pozole Verde and the other is Mississippi chicken. I use my Instant pot for both and they're always a hit! As a southern girl I do show my cast iron plenty of love too, especially when it's time for some fried catfish, okra, and corn bread! The Southern Alabama in me comes all the way OUT on those dinner nights! 😅❤ I loved this video and your sauce recipe sounds delicious! I need to pick up some MSG! Thank you for sharing!❤
Hey Beautiful, another great dish😋. I'm a country caterer girl,😉. I would like more stews or and soups, most ppl have things in the fridge to make a great soup or stew, but not sure of what too do to get a delicious meal in one pot. Love you,God bless and keep ya'll🙏💜
This recipe looks awesome! My Dad loved thighs as well. You asked about an additional accompaniment to this delicious dinner. How about hot biscuits? I just subscribed to your channel. Thank you. Julia
I love the idea of the salad - something fresh green and crunchy to accompany the chicken thighs while allowing the chicken to be the star of the show!
I have cooked chicken thighs with onion soup mix orange juice and cooking sherry it's delicious .Brown the chicken until golden brown add the onion soup mix orange juice and sherry cook until chicken is tender.
Looks good something different glad I found you. I made it in oven with potatoes and onions and garlic and carrots with Portuguese sausage spices and wine or beer. Or a dry rub in pan with veggies and baked potatoes
Can't go wrong with chicken thighs. The best part of the chicken in my opinion. Will always choose this option over dry breast meat. Yum! 2 thumbs up! 😊😊😊
This was such a pleasent, well done video AND the recipe looks SO delicious that I am going to attempt it TODAY! You've got a new subscriber and I can hardly wsit for the next recipe! ❤
That looks like an amazing dish. My family would love it, I’m going to give it a try. Thank you for taking the time to show the little side salad. It really helps us to figure out how to put an entire meal together.
No need to wash chicken before cooking, just make sure to cook thoroughly. Washing chicken and other meat can spread germs through splashing, even a tiny bit. If you do wash it be sure to wash the sink and surrounding counter with hot soapy water and thoroughly sanitize sink and surrounding area including counter.
We don’t wash chicken to kill the bacteria, we wash it to remove the slime and excess fat. If you don’t clean your chicken that’s fine, but why do you think your opinion matters to her? As if bleach and cleaning products don’t exist.
I was JUST wishing for a new idea to use with chicken thighs - thank you! I really enjoyed your video, look forward to trying this yummy recipe and of course, subscribed today. Thanks for the time and love you put into making these videos.
I had to subscribe after this. I make a brown sugar garlic chicken thigh that is very similar to this. Definitely making this. I adore chicken thighs so I'm always on the hunt for recipes. God bless 🙏❤
Okay I just found you like 10 mins ago and I already love you and i've just subscribed! It's so nice to hear someone talk the way that I do, girl i'm from Texas and the biggest mistake I made in my life was to marry an Englishman two weeks after meeting each other 19yrs ago, i'm stuck in the English Countryside and it's food hell!
That looks delicious! I need to make this soon. I love to make chicken paprikash. Season with salt and pepper, and sear the chicken like you do. Remove from pan and sauté chopped onion and garlic. Add in smoked, sweet, and hot paprika. Stir, then add a can of diced tomatoes. Put chicken back in pan and cook in oven until tender (I love low and slow for fall off the bone chicken). Finish sauce with sour cream. Serve with veggies and egg noodles.
I am preparing Kentucky Bourbon chicken thighs with garlic . They are baking right now in my crockpot . Can not wait to taste them. What can not be delicious with the Bourbon?😋😋😋
This looks absolutely delicious. I will be trying it. As far as the side dish, I think just the salad is enough. I wouldn't add anything else...thank you!
Sweetie, you just got yourself a brand new subbie!! My mouth was watering for that food you prepared. I also love that you named your cast iron skillet. Loved the name too. If your narration was adorable enough, you ended with a “God Bless you”!! I’ll be watching. ❤
I*m so blessed to have found your channel. I cooked a Dinner of yours last week and OMG totally blew me mind. this one I will cook this dinner this Sunday. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Camirra... I love your channel! ❤ Thank you for this recipe that's not too complicated & will be delicious! Such a lovely presentation when plated! ❣️🤗❣️
You are ADORABLE!!! I usually cook the thighs in olive oil and salted butter with about 6 smashed garlic cloves and some sage! Really good!!! The other recipe that I use is from the Philippines, which is where my former husband and his family are from. I absolutely love this recipe. You get some fresh ginger and make little discs of them cut little discs that are thin you put in about four yellow onions, cut in ringlets you’re gonna put in about 2 cups of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar and just enough water to one cup of water and you put about believe it or not about half a cup or more of soy sauce and you let that chicken just simmer in a closed pot almost like you’re going to make soup and they eat it over rice and sometimes they don’t eat any vegetables which I don’t like, but you can add green beans and garlic and soy sauce, and that would be amazingso I think you should look that one up. I think it is called chicken adobo, and it is from the Philippines.
I’m. Drooling. Ideas for chix thighs: my grandson and I made stacked birria enchiladas using chix thighs vs beef. Delicious! Glad to see red wine vinegar making a comeback.
Gosh, that looks amazing! Just my kind of recipe! Thank you so much for sharing this with us ❤ I think a side salad like what you’re showing is perfect.
A favorite of our family is Grilled Greek Chicken Wraps from Budget Bytes. Use boneless/skinless chicken thighs, lots of oregano, and we use the spinach tortillas to wrap all the yumminess together. My kids do not like hummus, so sometimes we skip that part. So so good. Sliced chicken, tomato, cucumber, red onion, greek yogurt topping. Can't go wrong.
Hello Camirra: I loved watching this recipe come together. I will definitely add it to my recipe list! I think the dish is perfect in itself -- you've got the seasoned chicken, the potatoes & veggies, Plus a salad! If anyone wanted a bit more, you could add some type of beans -- pinto, or whatever, to add to the table. But again, it is so complete, you really don't need the extra dish, only for those hungry tiger types!! Thank you and I'll let you know when I make the dish!!!
When my kids were small and lived at home, I used to make mushroom chicken with thighs. It’s also a great recipe for those who like chicken thighs. It’s pretty simple and easy!! Plus, you can pair it with rice, regular potatoes, as well as sweet potatoes and a salad. And, it’s delicious!!! Loved your recipe and going to make it before going to work tonight!! 😊❤
Just discovered your channel and I think I'll be going down the rabbit hole! I could watch (and listen to) you cook all day! I'm always looking for new recipes and these look great. I do a similar dish (LOVE chicken thighs) but I do seasoned flour & I bake it. Comes out crispy & juicy.
This looked so good and easy ! I have everything already on hand, which is nice. I'm going to make it tonight and I will be back on this video/channel and tell you all how the family liked it !!
I’m also a new subscriber and kudos to my husband for finding your channel! He loves chicken thighs but we don’t grill in the wintertime here in Wyoming and this recipe is now the menu. You nailed the entire meal! Thanks; looking forward to more!
Arroz con pollo with my chicken thighs . Seasoned with onion, garlic, and red bell pepper diced sautéed in olive oil. I add rice to the pan drippings and I use beer for the liquid to cook the rice and chicken. Then I add a couple tablespoons of pimiento stuffed olives. This is all steamed together in a Dutch oven till done! And yes I add salt to the rice as you would to cook rice. This is so good. A family favorite!❤️
Perhaps add something green.. broccoli or collards or zucchini perhaps . You’re lovely to watch.. great recipe and love the sparks of humor. You GO Girl!
I'm a new subscriber and when I saw you making chicken thighs I knew I had to listen to your podcast. We absolutely love chicken thighs, and this recipe sounds amazing. I'll definitely be making it very soon. ❤🙏
My family loves air fried chicken thighs. I make a mixture of paprika, lemon pepper seasoning mix and garlic powder and shake it in a bag and it makes a seasoning paste. If you cook it on 350° in the air fryer skinside down 30 minutes, flip then skinside up for another 15- 20 minutes and it's good. Crispy skin and fully cooked
