It's got a way of doing that... I'm lucky enough have worked there, but even when I leave in the winter, I know every bit of every hole! It's got a way of sticking with ya
WOW, thanks for the video...Can’t believe that I will be there in 4 weeks. First vacation with both my sons in 12 years ( elder son’s “birthday wish”,was a family vacation to Cabot). A True Bucket List
I played this course last week and it was everything you could want in a great golf course. A can of Cabot Ale and a seat in the chairs behind the 18th green is a must. In short, this course is phenomenal!
Countdown is on.....couple weeks and I will be here.....can't wait. Anybody play here? What's recommended to wear to be honest quite concerned about the bugs or does the coastal winds keep the bugs away.
First congrats, you are about to play a course that has few if any rivals. Simply AWESOME. We had 2 beautiful days of weather and absolutely no bugs. I wore shorts and a windbreaker of which I discarded by the 3rd hole(jacket, kept the shorts on). The day we left(early morning), rain was falling sideways do to high winds. Have rainwear just in case. Enjoy, if Florida was a bit closer I’d go every year 😎
Give us your feedback. How were the bugs and the weather :) I live on the Island and it packs a few surprises. My rounds in October were sideways rain and wind but still so much fun!
I played this course in 2018. It's a beautiful track. However, the greens were a huge disappointment as they were super slow...we had to nail out downhill putts to get the ball to the hole and still came up short! And the fairways needed several more years to grow in as there was scant grass on them. Overall a great layout but not worth the money until the grass improves.
Honestly there’s so many great golf courses around the world, I hate that all four majors are played in the US(PGA, US Open) and Great Britain(The Open). I wish the PGA Championship could be played internationally. I get it can’t since it’s ran by the PGA of America though.
