Josh take out the pole where you are throwing rocks in the chute. Then replace it with a chute all the way up to make it idiot proof. You throw a grenade or rock in it and it's guaranteed not to miss

One thing I will absolutely tell you, from personal experience and from watching other people, Cops have x-ray vision on horde night. Anything that isn't a full cube, they try to shoot through, and its WAY worse with a grenade chute. The first few horde nights won't be that much of a problem, but boy freakin howdy that chute will have have rad cops shooting the floor straight out from under your feet faster than you can say Bonza Mate.

I do think they over nerfed the traders, I do think Alpha 21 was fine for traders when it comes to Question Rewards. Though, is it me or do the Vehicles feel slower? Me and a friend found its faster to have a Mega crush and any run speed increase than a Turbo boosted Minibike

In the keyboard options, swap the letter E function with the letter T function. That will stop you from accidentally jettisoning yourself from the gyrocopter. Or indeed any of the flying vehicles.

What about switching E and R? 🤔 E to reload, with R being much closer than T to avoid wrist aches from reaching. If I was actually worried about that, I'd probably do that, or use F since that's another common selection button that's in the same range as R.

Woodle i found a solution to path zombies the way you want to, use a 1cm cube hole which detours zombies from places you don't want, i belive it also stops destroy everything mode as well. Personally haven't tested it a lot but thats what I've gathered so far

@@JaWoodle In the early game tier Is and IIs are nice for the mollies and pipe bombs, and the occasional extra ammo. Tier III onwards is honestly just there to reset the good POIs, or just to get a lot of Zs to shoot at, Tier IVs and Vs should get larger crafting skill magazine packages to match, in my opinion. I think Tier V should definitely go back to giving firearms, they are so much trouble to begin with it's a fair tradeoff

If you're upset about those quest rewards, wait till you get to the higher levels. I just did a Teir VI infestation in the wasteland, and they were just as crappy. As was the end POI loot.

@Josh - I don't know how far you've gone down the new trader system rewards hole but you're commenting on level 4s not seeming like a good payoff.... it doesn't get better at higher tier missions. Trader rewards as a primary source of stuff is a thing of the past.

Screamer spawns are a bit mental now. Just had 3 at once on day 5 night - a few minutes after I'd turned off the campfire and forge!

Myself and Two friends have started a World. I am the experienced one, they are both new to the game.... I took them out and taught them the basics before we started this. One of them was delayed a bit getting on, she made it on at about 1800 of Day 1, unfortunately she met a dog upon spawn in. She gets situated meets us at the house we choose to flip, as we are getting situated and I am telling ok this is what our new goals are blah blah blah... I hear a scream... thinking to myself NOOO WAY. Two Screamers night one. The last day we had... day 9, we had 7 Screamers in total. 4 in the Early morning just before sunrise, 1 Midday while mining Iron, 2 in the evening. It was an intense day. I feel bad for them as my Game Stage is going to cause them to cry come horde 2.

Fr, i had a screamer while only using the campfire and forge (not moving and headlights off). She called in another screamer aswell. This was the first week. Also for some reason a screamer was beating down my iron door while i wasnt near my base? She almost got through it so she must have been there a while. Havent heard or seen her when i left for a quest

For pathing up, if you run straight out from your pole to just before the fence, then use normal blocks as stairs. If you do 5 or 6 blocks right then switch back the same distance, 3 or 4 times to get to ground... it would give your molotovs a backdrop and also be able to hit several levels at once. Even pipe bombs would sit fairly well with a backing like that.

Just had a thought while watching this... in a zombie apocalypse, even in late stages, I feel there would be a lot more blood curdling screams, etc. How cool would it be, and how creepy would the atmosphere become, with occasional background screams off in the distance. Death wails and such. Not a bunch. Just ambient.

Screamers do still spawn on horde night, I had some spawn as I was finishing up my horde base like 40 minutes before the horde. I like the upside down bowling alley bumper for a zombie path up to the melee position. It's mostly just a half pole with one flat side so I like the way it sits better than the pole and they still path over it.

shift-click on item puts it on empty slots an doing the same to an occupied slot makes it empty this feature not every one uses. I noted that you do not use it, it can make or brake an hoard fail run that went bad, so by the time of swap vs the inventory drag method is used it causes you to not move sooner so you can get 1-2 hits in weapon wise from the swap time saved alone.

I'm looking forward to the 100K subs series. Not because I'm stupid enough to think that stun baton is good (I honestly think most people saying it is are just trying to get a rise out of Josh) but because doing something stupid, knowing it is stupid, can make for some great entertainment. Also, I'd really love to see someone sit down and do the math, to answer the question: if a player is spending the points, wearing the gear, etc, to make stun batons work, is there anything that _isn't_ good with that kind of investment into it? Like are there actually any weapons trees that are still garbage even with that much investment of points, gear, etc?

@@JaWoodle Stunners are legit the best Melee weapon in 7D2D, ask yourself the question, would you stand toe to toe with a dire wolve with your machete and fancy your chances?, I'm guessing no, you would be puckering up more than a cowboy on brokerback mountain. however you wouldn't think twice with a stunner, if it cant move, it cant hurt you. Enjoy them Joshy boy, you gonna be spending the next dozen series fishing all the batons back up you flushed away.

So unless my game is having issues screamers can spawn on horde day. I just had some spawn on day 49 at 2000, then again when horde was done. 2000 to about 0940 fight off hordes. Pretty sure I just logged out before the next one spawned

If you got a decent amount of gas auger is op asf and it replaces 2x tools so having gas on hand is not a burden and good for vehicle backup supply. I promise its worth it, I used to ignore the auger and chainsaw too they aren't so great without the perks.

havent finished watching the video yet but that bell tower base should also deal with the screamers, i have rad screamers showing up for me and they just use the same pathing into the horde base as normal. only difference is they like to make themselves known with their scream so i know to flick the switch to the electric fences so they fry and dont call in their friends before i can deal with them xD

All the work we do for tier 4 quests and up and we get scraps it's honestly disappointing and kinda turns me away from doing the quests aside from getting the bike. I mean yeah it unlocks nicer things in the trader inventory but it's just kinda eh, by time I unlock that good stuff I've already got it if not better.

I was just enjoying the base building and now its finished 😢 i was hoping a little test was gna happen. O if you add a wedge block or something on the pole it pushes them back down nowt sure if u used it before i saw a few bases with that frame idea they break it eventually but it gives you a less stressful night with them falling instead of breaking the base instantly.

The update they done with the screamers kind of sucks. 3 dew collectors, 1 campfire, 1 forge and 1 workbench and I get screamer spawns damn near constantly and they come in sets of 2 every time. Would be nice if there was a setting to control the heat output like there is for block damage and zombies.

You could totally make a horde base in the garage of your fire station. open both roll doors and funnel them into a tunnel makes a melee base.

Is there something to do in the settings or something to stop the loot bags from despawning before horde night is over with? I lost about 6 or 7 loot bags last night.

The trader rewards are ridiculous. Were they OP before? I don't thinks so but, even if you do, what they are now is worthless.

Absolutely not. Each point boosts your trader level so they get better inventory; you can even game it like the old secret stash if you use an INT mod in your helmet, doubling the trader's inventory. I had bought my chem station on day 9.

Im just curious, when you are building, and you change the shape variation, and you wanna go back to the previous variation, how do you do that? If anyone can tell me... I'm just newb. Thank you!
